This is interesting because, as @chantalisfat has mentioned, a lot of the time the Gunt's livestreams simply become unlisted rather than privated as soon as she stops streaming. (For people who might not YT, the difference is that an unlisted stream can still be accessed if you have the URL (e.g., if you still have the browser open to the video, if you've bookmarked the stream, if you have a notification in your notification list, etc.). It basically just removes the video from the channel's video catalogue and (I believe) search, but it's still watchable and easily accessible if you so much as have the notification in your list. A privated video, on the other hand, can't be watched until it's unprivated.

This makes me suspect that she thinks she's found the toggle for privating her videos but can't understand that unlisting and privating videos are categorically different things with different outcomes.

She did something similar with her "We're separating" video a couple months ago where in she said they had to temporarily live in separate apartments while construction was going on and she could not get work done. I don't know. Maybe there really was trouble in paradise then and now it's come to a head.

Candi is a boomer and is high 98.7% of the time so she often is talking too quietly, too slowly, or nonsensically, but around 1:00 she says, "they're kinda disgusting, for inserting shit and passing it... They're really bad. So you know I have it now." barf.

And with Ilona, I admit I stopped clicking her videos because they got super depressing - woman out of her depth, throwing herself into dog rescue in a country where she doesn't speak the language, hoping to get pregnant, cheekily tearing on fatties while she wasn't seeming happy herself. She did move to a separate flat from her husband because she was not coping well in a hovel that was constantly under construction and she made numerous mutterings about how people going in and out of the house were rude. Writing seemed to be at least chalked on the wall, if not scribbled in sharpie.

I was literally going to post this but yes in the "We're Separating" video, she announced that she was actually moving out to escape home renovations. I found it tacky then I watched this

Its very cow level, in this video she outs her RECENT husband's sperm count as the problem for their fertility. Vents about not wanting sex around Ivo's family. Chuck it on 1.5 speed. It was clear that she was really overstepping her ground at the dog shelter, to the point employees did not feel comfortable.

If that was my wife I would be furious as that is clearly very personal especially for an Eastern European male, they are very proud. First off moving to Bulgaria with minimal research and no stable profession instant issue. Then you add in moving to a full renovation. 75% of marriages fail the process, its very depressing especially for women.

Finally is her choices, she gave up being an "accountant" which in the UK is very stable. If she was a CPA then she is actually fucking stupid because you can retire in 10 years on that kinda wage. I feel bad for her to an extent but a lot of these choices she brought on herself and now she might not be able to get back in the UK. She is trapped in a shit hole county.

Maybe we can get some spicy Chikara gossip going. While I enjoyed her reacts, she does what every. single. reactor. does and tried to pivot to more personal videos which hardly ever works out. Plus the whole moving from UK -> BG on a whim seemed poorly thought out. I really don't know what she was thinking.

ETA-- Currently watching the linked video, so she is keeping only one of the puppies and wants to have the final decision about which family the other dog will go to. The shelter has told her to trust them and that she is not allowed to speak to the German adoption agency, in fact she doesn't even know the name of the agency.

I get being worried about the dog you spent so much time on, but if it's going to cause you this much distress why not just keep it?

If you've never worked dog rescue, one of the things that becomes most annoying is a newcomer with a bright-eyed, bushy-tailed 'I'm gonna shake things up' attitude. They come in all the time. They also burn out insanely quickly, because they don't understand that each rescue is completely hamstrung by funding, time, space, and, often, hard-headed management, and that dogs aren't going to go from mean/guarded to acting like you're Snow White in an hour. It's dog walking and scooping shit and vomit and dealing with blood. Dog walking and replacing newspapers. Dog walking and saying goodbye to an animal you bonded with. Dog walking and seeing an animal you thought was in a good home come back because people suck and don't have patience. Dog walking and lots of sadness. It's often not a great place for someone who is dealing with depression, if they love animals.

Add in this being a shithole country where animal rights are not top priority, plus a language barrier. Also, Ilona seemed to be uneducated about a lot issues you see often in street dogs and rejected animals early on. Tallying all these things up - she meant well, especially trying to get donations for the rescue, and I absolutely can't fault her for that, but came off as very underfoot. It was difficult to watch those videos and I say this as someone who loves doggos and appreciates people who help them.

TL, DR - she tried. Which is more than a lot of people do. Just needs more situational awareness, I think.

I thought she was fine with the dogs too. If anything the shelter was benefiting a lot from her presence and seemed happy to milk her labor and cash flow (the latter in particular, of course), not really resenting what she was bringing in. I suppose language barriers can be read as resentment though. I get that not everyone is into animals or animal content but I don't think anything was dodgy on CT's end with that. If anything, I would say the dodginess ran in the other direction.

I also don't think that she's going to be trapped in Bulgaria. She's a Dutch citizen and that's a strong and quite uncontroversial passport to carry; in the vast majority of the world, even outside the West, doors don't exactly slam shut on your average Dutch citizen. At the very least, she'll be fine easily moving through the rest of the EU and I doubt the UK, even post-Brexit, would even look askance at a white Dutch citizen trying to enter the country (if she decides she wants to go back there). Whatever European governments might like to pretend, traditional pre-regional integration affiliations and preferences still hold sway.

Of course, there might be a financial burden to moving, but...that's how it is for all of us. She has an established online coaching practice so it's not like she was a kept woman suddenly being thrown to her own devices. She'll just have to do what the rest of us do and save up money when she anticipates a move, which probably shouldn't be too hard given the cost of living in most of Eastern Europe. It's not like she's a stupid, hapless, unemployed indigent who doesn't know how to support herself; she's not Angey Lee.
