I know Avengers has itz own thread but i figured we could have one for all Marvel games.

Switch has a new one based on the Midnight Suns team

I see.....Blade, Wolverine, Captain Marvel, Dr Strange, Nico Minoru, Magik, where's Elsa Bloodstone?! Wanda?!

Lilith is the main villain.

I literally just went to my garage to make sure I didn't have a Mandela Effect moment but yes, my 90's Ghost Rider comics confirm the team was called the Midnight Sons, not Midnight Suns.

Also this Ghost Rider looks stupid and lame and too skinny. And why is everyone Yellow?

EDIT: Just looked it up and that's not even Johnny Blaze. Brand new latino high school kid with the surname Reyes takes up the mantle of an older hero. Am I talking about Blue Beetle or Ghost Rider? Real original, Morvel.

I like the new XCOM games, but everything about this one sounds shitty

That trailer was a fucking disgrace, character designs are butt ugly, CGI was lame and they fucking butchered Enter Sandman.

I thought Chimera Squad was not that bad gameplay wise, but the characters were incredibly annoying and the plot sucked, add to that modern Marvel writing quality and you'll have 0% chance of an actual decent story.

Robbie Reyes is a legitimately fun character tho.

Weird how quite a few of DC/Marvel's legacy latinos seem to turn out fun. (Blue Beetle, Ghost Rider, Jessica Cruz, arguably Wonder Girl).

america chavez doesn't count.

I mean they weren't even tangential to this stuff. at least Spidey has had the excuse of being "street level" and being a "totem".

It died long long ago and was a shitty facebook game that went rather pay 2 win at the end of its lifespan, but Marvel Avengers Alliance will always be my favorite marvel game.

It was a 2d turn based team RPG where you have your Shield agent and can bring along two heroes (or just Doctor Doom because Doom Stands Alone) Huge roster of characters, great synergy between heroes, alternate costumes that completely changed up how they played and the plot wasn't too bad for what it was. Making a bleed teem that stacked bleed on enemies then had Tigra proc them for insane damage? Amazing.

i remember that, Kang the Conqueror was also a standalone character.

it got mucked by the disney-fox boycot, then 100% lost steam even though it could have just continued.

Iirc they tried making an avengers alliance 2 as a 3-d ish srpg on FB but it just didn't go anywhere.






I'd kill for a Marvel or DC turn based rpg done properly, even if it was a gacha. Would rather have that than whatever the fuck they're doing now with pointless cash grabs.

Yep, Disney fucked it in the ass and it shambled off to an early grave. They tried to make the 3dish sequel with hardly any roster at all and everyone who had lost all their progress in the first game said fuck it so it died fast. I still miss it to this day though.:(

They have to follow the MCU, which used lame Latino ghost rider on their totally still canon shield show I think.

i swear i heard about it.

the 3-d sequel would have worked if they promised some linking functionality tbh. Like. . ."hey transfer characters from accounts when they release"

dunno why people are whining about Robbie, he's a pretty fun character who isn't a mary sue or SJW thing.


Now Nico Minoru? Jeez they turned her from lovable Runaway character into a bisexual zoomer goth.
