Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Just to confirm this is true, Canada has pulled out entirely with at least a few thousand Canadians being left out. It may not impact the federal election much (though I doubt it now given the upcoming debate and Trudeau's lagging polling numbers), but it certainly has fucked over any remaining positive opinion of the US.

Mentioned it before, but Biden has single handily done more damage to US foreign relations in the span of a month than fever suffering Dem shills thought Trump did over his entire term.

Badly, but not anywhere near as badly as Biden. Biden right now is a lightning rod for hatred and anger, the Democrats are going to lose a lot of ground but they are in a recoverable position.

Republicans are running several points ahead for 2022 on the generic ballot from what they got in 2020

The only thing that can recover the situation for the Democratic Party is events and what serious prospect is there for events in the next year to favor them? They're fuuuuuuuuuuuuucked

not if they keep ridin' with Biden after even this. if they get him to resign or call for impeachment, in case Jill refuses to let go of her strings, then I agree Dems will go on with their usual bullshit. but if they insist on acting like this isn't a big deal, then as time goes on EVERY Dem will get associated with this senile psychopath.

Recoverable doesn't mean Recovered. It means their position is one they can still pull off a win from with reasonable success and probability.

Basically, "If they play their cards right, they can recover". It is not me saying they WILL though.

Interesting when Democrats are openly smugposting about an imaginary 80k and how anyone who was left behind deserved it. I figured that would be effective since they are going full snobby elite at the exact right time.

By the way, how are you personally handling this? You talked earlier about not having much sleep and subsiding off coffee, I can only imagine that it got far worse.
