At this point it's obvious the civvies remaining on the ground in Kabul are fucked, no matter what country they ostensibly belonged to.

So the question I now have is:

How many soldiers are we going to leave behind?

It's questionable whether the attacks have been bombs or rockets, but rockets fired onto the runway or at outgoing planes could easily result in the largest loss of American soldier lives since I don't know when. Any military spergs want to chime in with when the last time is that 200, 1000, 4000 US soldiers were killed in a single day?

The Pax Americana is over. The time when we could go to third-world countries and tell people "work for us, inform for us, we'll keep you safe" and have them believe us is gone, completely, and it will impact our intelligence and military operations for decades.
