Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

It would not have happened, that is the point. The Taliban literally held back until Trump's original deadline expired before moving in on overthrowing the Afghan government by several months. Biden effectively gave the finger to everyone who agreed to Trump's full withdrawal date in May 1.

Had Biden simply stuck to Trump's script, we would not have abandoned Americans stuck in Afghanistan, he botched the whole thing & you're a faggot for running interference for him by repeating that Trump would've only made it worse when it actually would've been without incident.

What's funny too is that if he had stuck to the May 1st deal we'd be hearing about how Biden deserves credit for that and not orange man.

IMO the Taliban would have crawled out of the woodwork and made short work of the ANA just like under Biden, but Trump would have kept his end of the deal and this shitstorm would be non-existent, since the May 1st deadline would have been honored, all of it would be just a bunch of Afghani fighting eachother. If we want to blame Trump for something we could ask why didn't he make this deal 2-3 years ago and deal with the pull out during his term, and why offload it to a potentially non-republican administration.
