Basically, what Goal Tendie said but to add in, charities have a very insular system. Most of the people have been there for years and or founders. They have a process and a system that works. People that come into charities like Ilona expect rapid change but you simply can't because you have to be constantly on the books. As an accountant, she should have gone in knowing this. Charities take decades to get to their endpoint due to funding and contributions.

With animals to it is highly advised to not get attached because it can harm the behaviours of the animal. You have to also consider language too, Ilone went into a Bulgarian charity not speaking a word of the language and she has a very prickly aura about her. So that not speaking a word of the language and trying to change how the place works, sums up to not going to have a good time.

Basically, she imprinted all her issues of her very quickly failing marriage onto her dog shelter job. She tried but I don't feel she has learnt anything of the process alongside making her divorce public for clout. Just really tacky and cowish if you ask me.

I noticed the exact same thing when I spent a month or so watching Granny's more recent livestreams. Most of the audience thinks it's gross when Chantal belches and farts but fucking Granny has to explicitly react every. single. time. it. happens. And with Chantal — who lives for that gross-out scatological humor — it happens constantly. It's as though Granny is terrified that her audience might forget that she's above that sort of humor if she doesn't explicitly disavow it each and every time.

But she wouldn't be Clara if she weren't constantly powerleveling and insisting that every passing thought that wafts through her brain was a precious pearl. After all, this is the same woman who went on an extended rant about how she couldn't even bear to have one broken-down box in her apartment while waiting for the appropriate day to dispose of it all to powerlevel about how much better her mindset about empty box maintenance is compared to Chantal's.

I thought she was fine with the dogs too. If anything the shelter was benefiting a lot from her presence and seemed happy to milk her labor and cash flow (the latter in particular, of course), not really resenting what she was bringing in. I suppose language barriers can be read as resentment though. I get that not everyone is into animals or animal content but I don't think anything was dodgy on CT's end with that. If anything, I would say the dodginess ran in the other direction.

I also don't think that she's going to be trapped in Bulgaria. She's a Dutch citizen and that's a strong and quite uncontroversial passport to carry; in the vast majority of the world, even outside the West, doors don't exactly slam shut on your average Dutch citizen. At the very least, she'll be fine easily moving through the rest of the EU and I doubt the UK, even post-Brexit, would even look askance at a white Dutch citizen trying to enter the country (if she decides she wants to go back there). Whatever European governments might like to pretend, traditional pre-regional integration affiliations and preferences still hold sway.

Of course, there might be a financial burden to moving, but...that's how it is for all of us. She has an established online coaching practice so it's not like she was a kept woman suddenly being thrown to her own devices. She'll just have to do what the rest of us do and save up money when she anticipates a move, which probably shouldn't be too hard given the cost of living in most of Eastern Europe. It's not like she's a stupid, hapless, unemployed indigent who doesn't know how to support herself; she's not Angey Lee.

I was literally going to post this but yes in the "We're Separating" video, she announced that she was actually moving out to escape home renovations. I found it tacky then I watched this

Its very cow level, in this video she outs her RECENT husband's sperm count as the problem for their fertility. Vents about not wanting sex around Ivo's family. Chuck it on 1.5 speed. It was clear that she was really overstepping her ground at the dog shelter, to the point employees did not feel comfortable.

If that was my wife I would be furious as that is clearly very personal especially for an Eastern European male, they are very proud. First off moving to Bulgaria with minimal research and no stable profession instant issue. Then you add in moving to a full renovation. 75% of marriages fail the process, its very depressing especially for women.

Finally is her choices, she gave up being an "accountant" which in the UK is very stable. If she was a CPA then she is actually fucking stupid because you can retire in 10 years on that kinda wage. I feel bad for her to an extent but a lot of these choices she brought on herself and now she might not be able to get back in the UK. She is trapped in a shit hole county

I've watched Ilona since the start pretty much, and that Mental health/pregnancy/ channel update marked an escalation in power levelling and cow-esque behaviour on her channel.
Not only did she out her husband as the reason for their not conceiving, she was utterly scathing about it. No compassion, respect for his privacy, or fucking sense to know that such information has no place on a public platform, no matter who's 'at fault'.

She'd been doing so well up until last year. Her reactions offered something a bit different and constructive (calorie counts, how keto should be done, tips on a more productive day etc), she had her own content outside of reactions, and health wise, walked the walk.
There were a few annoying aspects - the power levelling creeping in, blatant courting sponsorship, 'when I'm preping for a show..' said over and over. Glad to see she finally actually is.

I think she succumbed to the curse of the haydur, becoming as much of a show as those she reacted to. Once she stopped working, and started relying on that youtube coin, she very quickly became bored and resentful of the reaction videos she needed to do, to maintain income. 'I'm only doing this reaction to get views' quickly became a tiresome catchphrase, along with constantly reminding the audience how busy she was/is. The whining escalated - lockdown, UK is expensive/moving/ don't like Bulgaria/dog shelter won't do what I say/renovations are noisy and on and on. I stopped watching, for the most part. She sounded increasingly spoilt and petulant.

Playing out the most private aspects of your life - relationship problems, fertility problems, and now setting up a live to announce your divorce, for asspats and superchats.. doesn't get more cow like.

I think Ron can be funny and he has a good persona for YouTube (unlike some of these other reactors, who have the personality of a wet paper bag). My issue with his channel is that he doesn't prepare enough for his videos. Like jot down a few notes if you are going to have Chantal on and promote it for a week. There has been so much going on with her that if he even did a half hour of research he could have asked her some interesting questions, both about her life and the rabid cows that are obsessed with her. I think Cliff didn't want to step on his toes and overtake the stream with drama as he's been accused of doing in the past, but it negated any reason for him being there. At the very least he could have had a few questions for Chantal.

Ron should stay focused on a target instead of just jumping on the bandwagon of whoever is a hot topic. His feud with Gunt and Granny Goebbels's is funny but the MFW shit is tired.

As for her whining and petulance with the shilling. For me, it was her old intro of like 2 minutes and her dower intros. Her personality too comes across as incredibly spiteful and woesome. Now if she was an accountant because I don't believe her for a second.

There is a reason and in the financial sector personally being in France, Germany and Spain with the UK. The UK's cost of living is lower than what is said, you can live on 15k fine but accountants depending on your rank get an average 28k - 70k. So she should not be struggling even down south because the wage changes naturally. Also accountants as in the states tend to retire fairly young due to their wages. You can lie Ilona just make it make sense.

I don't blame her husband for divorcing her because I think any man with a semblance of pride would. Welcome to cow-dom Ilona
