Well, I didn't know anything about that Bill Webb incident. It never made my radar somehow. But you said that thing was over - settled or whatever.

I've listened to Bill Webb's voice now though and it did sound like him. He talks a lot about Caltech in the video I'm watching too. Hard to track down his college experience, but he just mentioned attending Washington and Lee in the video I'm watching which isn't Ivy League.

Edit: The look on Nick's face near the end, obviously exasperated with whomever the mystery person is.

Having been to the campus, it's pretty small than what I expected but it is right next to Virginia Military Institute.
I guess it's the prestige and history attached to the institution?

Not bad, but not technically in the Ivy League. Brown is just barely higher at 61 and Dartmouth is not even in the top 100 on this list, so OK maybe.

I get the feeling, but I don't know, that he spent some time at Caltech because he talks about playing with people there so much, so maybe he's counting that as "Ivy League." It ranks up among them or even higher, especially in STEM, on many lists.

Yep! I'm pretty sure it's him.

That lawsuit is over, but Nick said this is a business venture, one it seems might need the expertise of a couple of lawyers, a couple of game designers, and maybe one YouTube personality. I'm pretty sure Webb knows what to do legally in setting up a business already, so this feels like something else law-wise.

Ty did develop Fistful of TOWs for Rand Corp so maybe they are working on something...

Dunno what it might be that would require Ty and Nick to help with besides the corpo stuff and PR shilling, respectively. Maybe they are investing?

As far as I can tell, it's not a map of:
  • Greyhawk
  • Forgotten Realms
  • Scarred Lands
  • The Shadowfell
  • Golarion

Maybe he framed up something he personally created. It has the same general color scheme of Greyhawk, so I thought that was it at first.

Another edit. OK it's obviously hand-drawn and colored, and a bunch of smaller pieces of paper assembled, so I am saying a map for one of the campaigns he ran.


Edit: I'm calling it on Bill Webb because of timecode 1h10m50 seconds in the stream, right after Nick shits all over Ty for liking Big Bang Theory. Bill talks about roleplaying at Caltech like he has in other videos where we know it's him.

This is also one of the moments you can see Nick's frustration with Webb's bragging and name-dropping. He ignores him several times when he tries to talk about being an engineer, as well.

Well he did give us most of the pieces himself. I'd say it is was one of those large piece dollar store puzzles.

If Ty was still there, it would've been funny to Amazon Prime them some Kiwis with a note "for the hang over." (Yes I'm aware it is a never to do thing). It is the thought of Ty going never pick a fight with the Kiwis. Or try and keep a secret.

I do want to agree with @Farmer Y in that I wasn't trying to help work this out to be malicious, but if you know Kiwi Farms are watching you every day don't give us a mystery to try to figure out. Stop being cagey.

OTOH they don't have to confirm nor deny so it's fine.

I read Amazon Prime not as Bezos' megacorp, but as Carey Christie, and was wondering how that made sense.

Yeah... 'Thou shalt not touch the LOLcows' and all that...

Ty and Bill are boomers with the inability to understand the capabilities of autismos on the Farms. This one was child's play--but in this case, I put most of the blame on Bill. Ty just gave me confirmation when he name-dropped.
