I can't remember the precise moment it struck me, but there was a point in time when it dawned on me that something wasn't right. There were too many patently obvious things he didn't know. I distinctly remember messaging Rekieta near the end saying "I'm sorry, I don't believe you." This was in response to pleas of ignorance in regards to both Ralph AND Masterson. It wasn't just Ralph. The Digibro and Cuties shit with Dick was going on at about the same time. It was too sordid. So, I cashed in my chips. Also, you're right that PPP was definitely more correct than not.

I learned several things from this:

1. E-Celebs are not your friend, and are predominately in it for the money. I don't think they can be expected to have consistent moral values. Or be honest.
2. Better yet: The entire concept on "online fwends" (e-celeb or no) is gay as fuck. Nobody you haven't met IRL can really be called a friend. Get real friends.
3. Your personal problems are always to be settled IRL.

Every day since I came to realize and implement these lessons has been better and better. The whole thing turned out to be immensely beneficial for me in the long run.

Meanwhile, Spergtree is spergy because I wised up, turned my back on the Racketeer cult (that's the major one), applied myself offline, and obtained a more fulfilling life. As near as I can tell, the only real difference between Spectre and Gator is that Gator gets paid by Ralph (or at least he did, I dunno if that's still true). They basically do the same type of sweeping for their online masters.

A few takeaways:

1. The joke's on you if you believe Nick was never aware of the gunt being the gunt. I wasn't ever familiar with Ralph until being on KF, but it isn't like you have to go far to see what's going down in his life.

2. Ralph is almost entirely bravado and only acts if he's put in a position where it's a viable option or if he sees an opportunity. It's not necessarily him being a pussy either, he's just lazy and likes to hear himself talk. And when he isn't being lazy, he's using his rent-a-cunt as a security blanket. So it isn't like Nick cutting ties would do much other than cause Ralph to go into an autistic shitfit over it and possibly try to start a smear campaign. But Nick has been through it before, and it isn't like many people value Ralph's opinions on others.

3. Nick also doesn't rock the boat unless he sees benefit in doing so. Maybe it's the grift, maybe it's his inner lolbertarian but he likes to be an armchair critic and keep things at commentary. Doesn't really debate anymore, doesn't do conflict unless it's something he can dunk on and make jokes about with his audience.

4. Going on point 3, I think the outcome Nick is looking for is ultimately to be on chill terms with the gunt behind closed doors but just....avoid talking about it in public. He doesn't want to cut ties and that's fine but he shouldn't have danced around it for as long as he did and pretend like he wasn't paying attention to avoid having to justify it to his audience. But it's the same issue manifesting in 100 different ways. He dances around hard things in order to stay cool with people and stay cool with his audience because he'd rather be "cool" with people than address things and make a concrete decision to satisfy one or more parties.

I do believe Nick needs a more dedicated thread and I'm saying this as someone who originally joined due to Weeb Wars and I usually keep myself to WW adjacent topics or things I personally find interesting. I still feel generally positive about Nick despite his lolcow tendencies. But WW has evolved, and so has Nick as he's tried to keep the momentum of his content that he gained at the dawn of all the bullshit. He's gonna justify his decision making in his mind and that's fine.

Alternatively, sperging out because he's doing cow shit or generally making decisions you don't like is laughable. That issue he has with trying to be cool with everyone extends to his fans and orbiters too. He isn't your friend, he isn't my friend. He may act cool and present his content like he wants to be buddy buddy with people, but that behavior/mentality is exactly why he's here now. And it's only going to get worse if he isn't mindful about how he interacts.
