I would say it's a perfect time for politics as it's been demonstrated our president* is clearly not up for the job. We can either ignore the problem and let it get worse, or kick his ass out and wait for Kamala to fail. There's too much going on right now to have a man who cries during press conferences at the helm. Not optimistic on anything happening before next year but if republicans are able to retake the house, I think we'll see articles of impeachment drafted immediately.
If that happens, the schadenfreude would be spectacular.

In general, any removal of Biden is going to be seen as a vote of no confidence that the Democrats should be allowed near the levers of power, let alone how the hell did Biden get put into the Presidency in the first place PLUS the historical black mark that the first President that was removed from office against his will, was a Democrat.
Also, removing Biden will effectively fuck over Kamala as she'll be a super lame duck and any move she makes will be hedged by the fact that the DNC will want her out ASAP due to guilt by association with Biden, meaning they can't even use her as a sacrificial lamb to get all of the beyond the pale shit (((they))) want ramrod down the masses throats lest the blowback cost them 2024.
@Overly Serious - After WWI, veterans were to get a cash bonus from the government, payable in 1945. When the Depression hit, many vets asked to get the bonus immediately. Congress said no. In the summer of 1932, thousands of vets and their families went to Washington to lobby Congress for the money. They stayed in makeshift housing. People donated food, clothing, and the like. They got a lot of support from the DC police chief, a vet himself. No money from Congress at that time. In the end, Douglas MacArthur and the Army removed the Bonus Army from their camp, causing casualties.
