I remember Nick Rekeitaberg when he first started. His channel blew up fast because of the ongoing Maddox lolsuit at the time. I think people were so drawn to it because it was like their first time listening a lawyer, or a "cool" internet one and he instantly became the source for the lolsuit scoops, effectively replacing that Keon guy on TDS.

I believe the Vic stuff was already... hot stuff well before (the greater part of 201 Nick showed up on the Kill Report. It basically filled the content void when the Maddox stuff dried up and accrued a bunch of anime loli weirdo viewers.

I guess I'm sperging too much here. I don't personally believe Nick siphoned many viewers from Ralph, rather Ralph got a lot (probably a shit ton actually) from Dick and Nick.

But you make a great point about Jim and other ecelebs. I think that probably tickled Nick's pickle over Ralph more than anything.

I paid no attention to the Maddox stuff. I was introduced to him when gym was on the killstream with him and I decided to check him out. I remember watching his streams just analyzing cases and case law, which I did enjoy. Those streams rarely broke 300 viewers if memory serves. Hence my impression that he gained subs from his appearances on the killstream. He definitely appeared on the killstream previous to the Vick grift. I did watch the Vick stuff at first and enjoyed some of it because it seemed someone might finally have a shot at defeating the titterati, but I eventually tuned out of his streams when he started focusing exclusively on faggot anime shit and the shallow cunts that produce it because anime is cancer.

What I wanted to bring up though, is that I always thought Jim was a bit hesitant about Rekieta and I felt it showed in their interactions and whenever anyone brought up Rekieta to Jim.

My experience is basically the same, I learned about Rackets via Killstream. His content pre-Vic was pretty interesting and early Weeb Wars didn't have a constant barrage of faggot anime references or people acting like he's their e-daddy. Not to be forgotten is the chat's near-constant shilling for their own GoFundMe's to get their wife's teeth fixed or some shit. I tune in when Nool is on, and that's about it.

Rekieta's guntguarding is embarrassing because he makes a show of being the virtuous trad dad who wouldn't be afraid to shoot anyone who came near his kids while rubbing elbows with the white trash who very likely masturbated to a prepubescent child on livestream and fathered two bastard children, the first of which was with a barely legal 18-year old. The Gunt gave him exposure at a time the killstream was being viewed by a consistent and considerable audience, which gave Rackets access to internet coolguys like Daddy Gym. I don't have the proof, but I would be willing to bet that Rackets accrued a significant number of killstream subs due to his appearances on the show. Not long after came the Vick opportunity, which he exploited like the good cryptojew lawyer he is, milking the anime grift. Those two things are what gained Rackets exposure and subsequent subs. In a way - as pathetic as it is - his recognition that the killstream/gunt ultimately opened the door for him to milk retards on the internet for money by appealing to their confirmation bias is as retarded as it is admirable, insofar as youtube grifters are capable of being admirable.

Nick got his real start during the Maddox lolsuit, which caught the attention of Dick Masterson. Because he was the only lawyer talking about it it gave him an in with a podcast that had a strong following. Since Nick also has a career outside of the internet that interests Ralph--that being a lawyer, something he is in desperate need of all the time--Ralph started cozying up to him. If you know Ralph, you know the faggot is a sociopath who is capable of ingratiating himself with people to begin with and people don't do too much research so they don't know what kind of person he is. This was also at a time when the Killstream had a noticeable following at the same time. Nick certainly pulled in views from both Dick Masterson and Ralph's audiences, and I would dare to say that more people from Ralph's former audience watch Nick instead of Ralph at this point.
