Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

>Lincoln Project

There is so much material I could use here about "how did they get the footage when they aren't allowed near schools?" or otherwise, but I'll stick with this: the only things the Uniparty worshippers of the Lincoln Project love more than grooming children is complete control of their party back.

They are afraid of DeSantis being Trump 2, but without baggage and extremely competent. He would make Trump look like a joke for what he could do in 4 years.

Also, through the CDC, only ~400 kids have died nationwide of the coof since the start of 2020. That's excluding what kind of medical conditions they had prior, which means a death rate of 0.001%.

They desperately want him out to make an example of the Trump side of the party, but his approval is 60%+. All his donations come from within state, versus his opponents, which all come from CA or NY. Noone loses with that much approval. And they cant fortify it like 2020 without HR1, because the crooks from Broward and Palm Beach are gone. He is virtually undefeatable now.
The thing that concerns me about DeSantis is that he's a relatively new figure to me so I can't tell if he's sincere or just trying to win.
With Trump, I knew what I was getting when I cast that first vote. I knew about the good, and the bad. But that was a much preferable choice to an even worse version of a Clinton presidency, and the more I learned about the man, the more I came to respect the way he was doing a lot of things.
With DeSantis I only started hearing about him specificially because of his posturing himself against the branch Covidians and their death cult of fear, so I don't really know much about him as a person, so it's hard to manage expectations.
Anyone whos lived in FL under his governance have any input? Could he legit challenge Biden and win? Would he be a better president than Trump in that he actually likes the country he's president of, or would he be another RomBot who says the right things to get the nomination then turns out to be a Democrat LARPing as republican?

Eh they have been making DeSantis as if he's a Satan incarnate
Progressivism is a religion with no God, but very much with a Devil. The precise face of the Devil is always changing, and yesterday's devil can be discovered to be not so bad compared to the current one, but he's always there and everything is his fault.

I'm going to have to disagree with the 'No God' part, progressives have made some cargo cult of Science their 'god' and dead black criminals and the people who grift off them their martyrs and apostles.

Scumbag

Had some interesting enraged perspective on the recent drone strike and airport snafu from a blog here. https://bigcountryexpatoriginal.blogspot.com/2021/08/now-you-kilt-target-rufkm.html

If this this was an intentional glowie op to continue the forever war, they fucked up. Nobody is buying it, and they are in danger of losing everything. Which will likely force them to start shit domestically in 2 weeks. My gut tells me the fuck up was intentional with the airbase, but ended up too successful. The CIA assumed the administration was more competent to handle and cover up the mess then it actually was.

Good. Fuck this fag

Poor people don't eat healthily because they can't afford to.
This is so wrong. Fresh food is much cheaper than fast food.
The problem is high crime leads to supermarkets and butcher shops GTFO of urban centers, creating food deserts where the only surviving sources are fast food and convenience stores. Compounding this problem is blacks are fucking retarded and blame their unhealthy life on the wh*toid.

No, they don't eat healthy because they are lazy and spoiled.

Water isn't any more expensive than cola.

Canned vegetables are perfectly acceptable and you don't need organic to eat healthy.

Frozen fruit is usually better than fresh fruit.

Portion sizes are the biggest issue.

I've been on food assistance for a year and a half now. I typically have an extra hundred dollars a month because I don't buy pre-packaged frozen meals and shit tons of cola.

If you want to take the blame away from them, blame it on living in food deserts more than "they can't afford to".

I can answer that.
Florida has mostly returned to normal despite some schools fighting his mask mandate ban in the Broward and Palm Beach counties. People generally wear masks in the blue areas or tourist traps, but outside of them and chain places, you would be convinced Corona was more a beer you'd chug at the beach than a global catastrophe.

He COULD be LARPing, but I haven't seen proof of it yet. I give him the benefit of the doubt. Somethings he did that are against traditional big business GOP interests include banning offshore drilling and better funding wildlife preserves, banning troons from competing in sports (on the first day of pride month too), passing vigorous election laws (even when Florida had the best election ever in 2020) and telling anyone madating vaccines to get fucked and see them in court, to name a few. He is no Noem, if thats what your worried about. And if you're worried about "green policies," DeSantis knows we like preservation of the environment here.

Would he be better than Trump? Could he challenge Biden and win? Not sure. He would know what he was getting into with the swamp scum better, but would he be 100% with his voter base? You'd have to take that chance. Electorally, he would be a Romney + Trump combo of appealing to rurals and suburbs alike. The only problem is that they'd wouldn't be as motivated as if Trump was the frontman. The Dems wouldn't be as motivated too, so its an even tradeoff.

A large part of that is because we think teaching high schoolers the names of the first black woman to climb a mountain or reading some gay guy's diary is more important than teaching actual skills like, you know, cooking or how to find good prices on food. Yes, I know that to a degree it's a time issue and there are fat people who have to work 80 hours a week for their family and can't eat healthy because most of their calories come from vending machine trash, but that doesn't describe every poor person. And yes, I know, food deserts (which are increasingly becoming the norm thanks to inner city crime).

If you tackled crime, education, and the economy (like made it so 40-50 hours could provide for a family) you wouldn't have this problem.

He seems to be pretty sincere, but he has definitely been intentionally positioning himself to be an heir to Trump-style GOPing while being sincere
one of the more noteworthy things he did was put a lot of effort into clearing out a lot of the election bullshits in south FL, he's gone against the main party in spending on wetlands conservation
the major complaints other than ORANGE STATE MAN BAD is that he's very fond of Israel, but when your state has more old jews from New York than New York does I think it's understandable

There's only two branches of the military, the Army and the Navy.

The Air Force is a corporation.

The Marine Corps is a cult.

And yeah, they're crayon eating retards, but by GOD they're my crayon eating retard strength packing little brothers and I love them to death.
"The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for the United States Marine Corps!”

Working 12 hour nightshifts, I found it easier to make a simple breakfast after work, then a full home made meal before the start of work.

This might be considered copium but these recent and upcoming failures with Biden might be the birthing pains of a better America. We had something good with Trump, Democrats hated him so much they rigged him out, and now they are suffering the consequences of their actions. It's sort of like a carrot and a stick where the carrot is American prosperity under Trump and the stick is Biden's failures. The only thing that really remains to be seen is if Democrats connect the dots or still make excuses for Biden. If they somehow do, a red wave in 22/24 would be the revitalization of the country.

Is there really any saving this presidency?
I mean incompetent military leadership is one thing - it was honestly a HUGE mistake to use Washington as the model president and merge commander in chief with the executive branch; I personally think that commander in chief should be a separate position, elected into office but restricted to former military officers, and ultimately subservient to congress - but an act of God? Hitting DIRECTLY into the below sea level bussy of New Orleans?
The US has lost the mandate of heaven. Totally and completely.
I think with Washington it made sense. Since he was the general for major battles in the revelation war. I do think it may have been a bad idea to continue that tradition after Washington.

Killed 13 service members and can't even guarantee being there to greet them and their families.
Yeah scumbag.
To be fair the family members would probably strangle him on the spot if he showed up
Good point.
It's almost kind of terrifying that the Religious Right, who were going on and on about how Trump was sent by God, may have had a point. Again.
I am a religious guy and well i always thought those on the religious right saying Trump was a gift form God to be going overboard. Recently I been feeling there may be some truth there now.

Some people here think he's part of the establishment. I haven't really been on that trian. Honstely I wasn't sure what to make of him. You have mention things that I didn't even know he did. Granted I don't live in Florida.
