Honestly, the fact the media gives him so much attention despite the fact he isn't doing anything noteworthy that other red politicians have done is the big flag for me. The cathedral doesn't casually give airtime to people unless they have a plan for them.

And before anyone says it, Trump was who the cathedral wanted because they thought he couldn't beat Hillary. It was a major miscalculation on their part and that's why any future "outsider" or "rebel" you see is going to be controlled and astroturfed.

They think by voting in old men who the media tells them is good, they can save the world that the media tells them is dying. Not familiar with the guy's views but taken at face value that clip is pretty benign. He lists all of them as "hero archetypes". Rosa Parks and Ronald Reagan are actually regarded as American heroes, it's hard to dispute that even without sharing the view. Grouping Jesus with Superman doesn't seem deliberately intended as a snotty God = Tooth Fairy type of slight, although it doesn't particularly sound like something a Christian would say.
