Naturally, none of them have ever served in the military or done any aid work overseas, but they're sure eager to send other people to fight for their causes.

All this shit is making me realize something. I was in a program run by a branch of the US military from the age of 12 to 18, not JROTC but something similar, I'm pretty convinced those fucking kids would do a better job running the US military than the current brass. Hell I was like 13 and they managed to teach us how to fly a fucking Cessna and somehow all of us managed to take off and not nosedive into the ground, how to do land nav using only paper maps, did a more tame SERE training (waterboarding OK. But no finger breaking) how to deal with all kinds of shit. Not saying that makes me or any of the other participants military geniuses or fit to be generals but those 13 year olds sure as shit couldn't be worse than morons like Milley.

Much like how virtually anyone could write a better Star Wars movie than the people whose job it is to write Star Wars movies, almost anyone could run the military better than the current Joint Chiefs. The problem is basically the same: anyone at that level who focuses on doing their job well isn't focusing on networking and office politics, which is what determines who actually gets the job. The parent organizations are so rich, so bloated, and so secure that they don't meaningfully process the basic feedback most of us call "the results."

On a side note, what will be done about Ghani, who basically stile US taxpayer dollars.

On one hand, that would give a bunch of gang members access to military training which is already a problem since gang members have been documented joining the military to get training and even signing their homies up. On the other hand, no one said that it would be GOOD training. Tyrone Crip might be pretty pissed all he's doing is learning about diversity and not about cappin' dem niggaz.
