You know if he just sat down like a normal person and gave normal ranting reviews like he first did he'd rake in views, save on time, and make less of an ass of himself. Much like Doug Walker though he seems to want to be a skitman first and a reviewer second...despite the fact that only the most retarded of the fanbase possibly liking it.

I think it's the "filmmaker" side of both of them that believe that if they can't do a realized movie then they can force that into their reviews.

I think the last sketch I really and truly liked from James was the Paperboy episode where he hops on a bike and tries to actually throw a newspaper into a mailbox. That and breaking a window with a newspaper.

Screenwave is reusing the same podcast set to make at least 4 shows now. The Cinemassacre Podcast, a gamming show with big Ryan and Loco Bandito himself, the third one about vintage toys and it has been confirmed a fourth podcast hosted by Tony where he talks about films.

I wonder if slobette Erin will get one to call her own as well.

But I still can't get over how the third host doesn't have space to put their legs below the table. Imagine one hour of agonizing discomfort and you can't say anything because the moron who projected the set is sitting in a very pleasing extra-sized chair all proud for what he just made.

Boy I sure am excited to listen to Manchild: The podcast.

Master stroke from the slobs to garner sympathy.

Wow. amazed james had the time to turn on the MAC. His whole set had to get moved proabably. NGL, wouldn't be shocked if his MAC was just the teleprompter and he was reading a script. No time to give genuine reactions.

I have no issues with James bringing back mailbag videos, some people have been complaining about how there's getting less interaction between James and his fans, so this is something he should've done frequently, but hey, better late than never. I'll just post what I thought in bullet forms again and keep it short and simple as possible:
  • The part where James reading Chris Bores' e-mail rubbed me the wrong way early on, and no it's not because I despised/hated Chris even though I knew how bad he was. There's also a hint that they might do something more in the future.
  • So far most of the video involved James just emotionlessly (at least based on how it felt like it) reading out the e-mail and the response was just mostly echoing what the emails said. I still felt bad for the people who were sending these e-mails to James in regards to their difficult lives.
  • The 13th minute mark where the 2017 e-mail mentioned Kyle and Bootsy (the one who sent the e-mail gave his regards to them) also rubbed me the wrong way given how we knew what happened to Bootsy (and Kyle, but I still take the claim regarding how Kyle was treated with a grain of salt). Still at least James is smart enough to leave Board James as it is. Wait, why was he reading an e-mail from 2017 to begin with and it had Kyle and Bootsy?
  • James abruptly mentioned his book at 14:52 when he's reading an e-mail about being a father. Very awkward.
Video isn't as bad as I thought but I can see why given how James acted kinda emotionless, having the sponsor plug-in early on, and the video involved him only reading out positive ones (which to be fair, I see why, I mean the video title says "Wholesome Fan Emails", not "Cinemassacre Mailbag #xxx" or "Fan Emails of the Assholish Variety"). Still not gonna be too angry at this one.

So yesterday I had a great time driving around to different ice cream parlors to mock all the fat people, and between parlors, I listened to Mike & Ryan's Talk About Games and it was actually pretty good. I'd say it's the best show on the channel, since it's plain as day to see that Mike really is passionate about video games and can talk a mile a minute about just about anything he's enjoyed. He has chemistry with Ryan, and they bounce off of each other pretty well. They talked about two games I've never played and know barely anything about, and still enjoyed it quite a bit. I'll never play Mechwarrior 5 because it's just one of those games that's absolutely not for me, and I have no interest in playing any kind of mech game unless I get to use something crazy like the giant Steel Battalion controller:

(this also has three foot pedals)

Something I've wanted for a very very very long time is a good gaming podcast where the hosts don't break out into little spergfits over current events, and you'd think that would be a trivial thing to find, but its been outright impossible over the past several years now. Like, it's retarded how many gaming podcasts just turn into audio versions of Kotaku, with the hosts hyping up the capeshit du jour, talking about what toys they bought that week, and then getting uncomfortably preachy about left-wing politics. This stuck strictly to the games and that's all I could really ask for.

There's nothing I could really even make fun of, no weird gaffs or signs of burnout or anything, Mike and Ryan actually seem to be having a great time and there's even one point near the end of the episode where they make fun of pedantic faggots on Twitter near the end and it's pretty funny:

So if you're like me and you really enjoy hearing guys discussing video games that they actually really enjoy and seem excited to discuss, give it a shot, and I'm giving this one a 9/10 excellent work boyz ya dun gud

Actually enjoyed this one, but I'm very biased towards videogames instead of whatever normie boring shit that happens around James.
Not a fan of anybody taking the piss out of commenters but I guess its the norm for modern streamers.
