My personal belief is that the most crucial thing you need to have to become a successful chuuba (besides being entertaining, of course) is to have a unique voice. In a market that is saturated like this, that thing is even more precious than ever. I mean, pretty sure everyone in this thread can recognize the voices of someone like Gura, Korone, or Miko from miles away
I wholeheartly agree with this 100% having that unique voice that just catches you. You can tell how much of an important feature it is to have if you listen to collab songs or collab in general. If you close your eyes you can tell EXACTLY who is speaking regardless if you can understand the language or not. What kind of curel world would this be now without things like Marine diehard boomer laugh or Korone high pitched giggles.

For Gura maybe, her actual voice is similar enough you might recognize it but that's not her real voice, it's a little lower. Miko and Korone, I dunno if they're putting on a voice but I'm pretty sure I've heard Korone stub her toe and her voice remained the same.
Some of them are super dedicated to the kayfabe. Like Luna, who I once saw a video where she got Discord called at like 3am while she was super drunk and she still kept her voice going like she usually does.
That only works when you have the room to grow. That also implies you'll sit your ass down and review just how and why you got to where you are in life. Mana will do no such thing even jettisoning a dozen chuuba identities, because the problem is in her roots.
