Luckily I have a box that powers my phone so that I have internet while it lasts.

Being in New Orleans is gonna be rough, way things have gone so far you're gonna be waiting a long time for power to be restored. Plus much of the city's people are still around.

Holy shit, so this really is making up to be a big hurricane. Not as big as katrina but will still do a lot of damage nevertheless. how long is it expected to impact New Orleans?

And now the Italain navy guy who was a storm chaser but then a helicopter pilot who's sister is the GM of the holiday in has not been allowed in the Holiday inn. He said he had a room booked there but I guess not. These WXChaser guys now feel they are responisable for him for some reason and put him back in their car.
His bullshit story took them out of where the action is and now they are just hanging out in a parking garage.

No the worst part is when everyone's shit backs up in to your house because they keep flushing and they are at a slightly higher elevation then you.
If you live in this situation you should leave the cap on your Cleanout lose or get one of those caps that pop open if their is pressure under them. Better shit flooding your yard then your house.


Also the storm WXChaser guys just gave the weirdo italian guy their hotel room.
"we can't just leave him" and they can't understand why no one else would take them in. They also seem to believe the chick was really a nurse trying to deliver medicine.
They ain't gona make it hanging around NOL when the fun starts.

Laplace seems to be in pretty big trouble, the floodwaters there are extremely high apparently. Pretty disconcerting to think of all these people putting out pleas for help on Twitter since emergency services aren't operating
