It probably wouldn't have been a silver bullet but he could've made some decent media-assisted hay out of it. Give some 'solemn', edited speech at Ground Zero while the media and his twitter shills fawn about how only Biden could get us out of the forever war and repeatedly bring up Trump failing to do so, while best case Afghanistan would be just some unresolved mess like Iraq right now where it isn't really a victory but it's not a clear-cut defeat either, and worst case the Kabul government would still be failing, but hopefully in much slower motion in a way that the average American won't notice. As it turns out the media smelled blood in the water with how things actually went and the twitter shills just look even more pathetic than ever still trying to push the 'at least Biden got us out!' narrative in the face of the absolute disaster that 'getting out' has been.
