Wuhan Coronavirus: Megathread - Got too big

Part of the BBC’s weekly rona roundup included the death of an NZ woman due to the Pfizer vaccine and myocarditis and Scotland’s first minister now self isolating due to an aide testing positive (archive). Cornwall calls in the army (archive) help with the 3 extra ambulance phone calls they’re getting over cases. Feels like setting up for winter lockdowns but i’m a bit surprised to see the bbc put a vaccine death on the headlines even if they assure you its still safe.

The BBC news has started to go quiet, compared to a while back. The coronavirus page accessed from the top menu bar has hardly changed in the last week. I think there were some changes to the text of one piece, 4 days ago, but thats it. Other than that, on the front page in the last week or so, there has been the Mrs Wills woman who died with covid, some bloke yesterday who managed to say he would tell everyone to get the jab before he died(yeah right!) and now the NZ death.

I think they may have twigged we don't give a fuck. I have been around and about in a few parts of the UK, this past week, and mask wearing must be at an all time low. It is more in areas with more vehicle traffic and i wonder if it is people who wore masks before covid.
Vax uptake is now pretty low for 1st and especially 2nd jabs and this is probably due to all the official news saying you can still get covid, pass it on and even die. Alot of the UK is very lazy and fed up with their lot so fuck leaving Netflix to waste time.

There is now a site where people are being encouraged to narc on those who have chosen not to vaccinate, submitting their name and city of residence to a central database operated by a bunch of busybodies. Presumably, at some point, this database will be published and searchable, putting a scarlet letter 'round the necks of the unvaccinated.

They're already whining that their database is under an attack by "incels", who are filling in their form with racial slurs, profanity, et cetera. Would be a shame if more people started filling out their little form with names like Jeffrey Epstein or Heywood Jablome, wouldn't it? :story:

The page won't load for me on any browser, so hopefully someone took the damn thing down.

I can't connect.

Should just start filling it out with names of people who actually have been vaxxed. That would do more damage to the effort than trolling. It would destroy the credibility of the database and shut it down faster than random trolling.

Oh, I guess they took it down. Looks like it's dead. But the archive of the page is still available:

That reminds me of some journalists in Westchester county who published a list of gun owners adresses in that area after Sandy Hook. Someone menaged to give a taste of their own medecine by posting the journalists adress online.

Here's the article @Heinrich Maneuver mentioned (and linked to) I'm just reposting because I found this bit interesting:

European regulators say myocarditis is a "very rare" side effect and that the vaccine's benefits outweigh the risks
Hasn't this been proven false? More chance of getting COVID with a jab, add to that jab-side effects, that the jabbed carry more viral load...

What benefits of the jab are there? Less-severe symptoms of a delta strain which is more contagious but less deadly than the OG covid?

I wait for the upcoming surprising Pikachu face these regulators will have if and when one of them got corona-chan despite being jabbed.

Shut your mouth unvaxed, Israel isn’t the US, so it really doesn’t matter. But keep using misinformation to avoid taking the needle, chickenshit.
But why haven't you got your booster? You're literally killing granny you alt-right Nazi. What's up? Too busy spreading misinformation on Reddit on how 2 jabs is enough?

You are literally killing millions of people you Nazi arsehole. Get the booster, it isn't hard. Stop being a fag and get jabbed again, and again, and again:story:

So yesterday the chairman of the ruling party, and it broke his heart having to say this, announced that only the double jabbed would be allowed to go to the football, drink a beer in the pub and eat at a restaurant.

Today we had a further 73 cases, still no deaths.

New South Wales continues to see a ramp up in infections with 1200 plus cases and 4 deaths. Two thirds of adults in the state have now had at least one jab.

In total there were over 1300 cases in Australia with 4 deaths, all of them really old people, one was a terminal patient in a nursing home, and a chronically unwell aboriginal. Nonetheless our government are keen to tell us that the Delta is super dangerous for young people and that anyone can die of the airborne AIDS.

In Queensland a couple of truck drivers decided to protest by parking on the freeway at the border with New South Wales with traffic backed up for miles. The Queensland government has announced that all interstate truck drivers must get the jab or else won't be allowed in. Trucking companies are reporting staff shortages as drivers are refusing to comply and not showing up for work. So on top of everything else we will now have to contend with supply shortages....great.

I decided a while ago that I wasn't prepared to embark on a lifetime of injections, multiple times a year, for a bug that science tells me can't be properly vaccinated against.

All of us have to make that decision. There is and will continue to be massive pressure put on us individually to get the jab, every adult will have to make their own choice. whether to cave to that pressure or carry on When it comes to children that's a different story. They receive no benefit from the vaccines, none. They will be exposed to the vaccine side effects both long and short term. The idea that it's OK for a 3 year old to be injected 5 or 6 times a year with this stuff is absolutely horrifying to me and any parent consenting to that should go neck themselves.

Guess who's skipping the vaccines? It's not what we think. https://www.americanthinker.com/art..._the_vaccine_the_answer_may_surprise_you.html

Who’s Skipping the Vaccine? The Answer May Surprise You

By Brian C. Joondeph, M.D.

Big media has been in overdrive pushing COVID vaccinations, at least after Joe Biden was ensconced in the White House. Remember that when Donald Trump was still president, the vaccines were suspect, simply because Trump played a major role in their development and rollout.
Before the election, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were vaccine-hesitant. Both cast doubt on the COVID vaccines, still in clinical trials last fall. Biden said, “I trust vaccines. I trust scientists. But I don’t trust Donald Trump.” Did he believe Trump was cooking up the vaccines in the White House basement, the sole decision maker regarding approval, ignoring the pharmaceutical companies creating the vaccines, overseen, and ultimately approved by the FDA, not the president?

Biden’s running mate, Kamala Harris, cast similar doubt saying, "I would not trust Donald Trump and it would have to be a credible source of information that talks about the efficacy and the reliability of whatever he's talking about. I will not take his word for it.” Again, it is the FDA, not the White House that is charged with approving vaccines.
Trump can say what he wants but if the regulatory authorities say otherwise, that’s as far as it goes toward approval or usage. Look at hydroxychloroquine as an example.
In a hyper-politicized country, Americans tend to believe those with whom they identify politically. Hence those on the right supporting hydroxychloroquine as a therapeutic and those on the left, like Fox News’ Neil Cavuto, saying “it will kill you.” If the future president and vice president were vaccine-hesitant, expect many Americans to adopt that view.

Once there was a new occupant in the White House, the vaccine narrative flipped and the administration embraced the new vaccines as if Biden and Harris conceived of and developed them, rather than having the vaccines and a robust rollout dropped on their laps when they strolled into the White House.
At present, the U.S. is 51 percent fully vaccinated. While that may not seem like success, if you break it down the numbers are more favorable. 62 percent of adults and 81 percent of the elderly are fully vaccinated. Another segment of the population has natural immunity based on having had COVID. Given natural infection as a second and more robust pathway toward herd immunity, America has done well.

Certainly better than countries like New Zealand, with only 24 percent of adults fully vaccinated and very little natural immunity as they are an island nation that has been largely cut off from the world for the past 18 months. Their population is being hit by COVID now with the inevitable surge in cases once this highly contagious virus variant got a foothold in the country.
Who isn’t yet vaccinated in America and why? There is vaccine hesitancy, which according to Wikipedia “is a delay in acceptance, or refusal of vaccines despite the availability of vaccine services.” It’s not simple and straightforward, either. “Vaccine hesitancy is complex and context specific, varying across time, place and vaccines. It is influenced by factors such as complacency, convenience, a fear of needles, or a lack of understanding about how vaccines work.”
