Well the 'janitor + trannie = jannie' theory is pretty sound
Bro, I guarantee you that a lot of people, including myself, never thought that the world 'jannie' revolves around transexuals. It is a similar shit to when the tech-giants decided that the word 'master' is racist - to much surprise most of the american blacks in tech and even bigger surprise to the people, who are non-native english speakers.

Checked it out for myself and whoever called it a few pages ago was right. This is the top post on the subreddit at the moment.

It seems that these people are passionate and highly motivated. Surely there is a sizeable compensation package attached to all of the hard work these internet custodians conduct on a daily basis. Why, if it were me, I would be asking for at LEAST $50,000 a year. Any insight? I was thinking about applying for a position, since I am simultaneously a retard, faggot, and a tranny.

Couldn't have happened to a shittier site. Powerjannies deserve this civil war. I know Reddit is traditionally referred to the Wild West of the Internet (At least back when they had actual ethics with Schwartz), but I think that metaphor is actually fairly accurate. Just like the Wild West, it was once a fairly free and open site, then companies and bigwigs started realizing it's potential and poured all their influence into it, pushing the pioneers further westward. Who knows, maybe in our own lifetime we will see corporate shilling on 4chan.

Ofc not even the ones who coined the term (4chan??) intended it to so poetic.

Imagine getting $50k a year to janny. I'd do it if it paid that much. I'd just occasionally log in on my phone while doing my actual job and delete a few posts.

So from what I've seen, most on Reddit are either confused, laughing at the retards shutting down and saying it'll do fuck all and/or normalising censorship is bad, or suggesting to double down and delete other subreddits as well. Funniest shit I've seen is r/StarTrek going private, then some nigger made r/Star_Trek to fill its absence in the meantime.

I'd hope this shitshow ends with a total jihad of jannies and the assblasting causes Reddit to collapse, but that's fucking optimistic. Best part is the worm med sub being meme'd on and doing a better job than this whole shitshow of janny pride.

People have been shilling on 4chan for a long time. It’s even easier there tbh.

Rule of thumb dictates that anyone who asks for privileges or power, should get neither. Throughout history, the best rulers have been "reluctant monarchs", people who stepped up to the plate just because they looked at the mess everyone else was doing and said "fine, I'll do it myself".
Eeeeeeeh... or at least have had the foresight to project that image of themselves. Not wanting the job and getting socially pressured into it can have terrible results too. Get what you're saying though, capable men generally don't need to seek power, it tends fall to them eventually either way.
