Now, I don't know if the pins are sent to Sam first and he and Flup bag and send them, or the company he's working with to produce the pins do it, but there is a definite cheapness moreso than what I even thought Sam would stoop to.

Not only is there just understandable colour difference, but there's weird color burn, missing pigments, Celia seems to have some weird angled fading in her hair. The worst is consistently Winifred.

That's a fucking train wreck. I had to check to see if there were alternative colours fast, there isn't. I gave a sperg on why his pin design is bad using Lucy, but Winifred commits all the same sin, but worse. I really did pick Lucy to give Sam a bias, as she was the best pin design he had, and he was punished for it. This just makes it worse. Not only that, but the issues he's having aren't related to design. That is manufacturing. Fennah needs a better manufacturer, at the price he's asking and the quality of the pins, yeah no. He's definitely going with the lowest bidder while asking for more.

Doing the clothing does not take long unless it's horribly complex clothing. I do not even refuse to believe, I know it, and anyone with even small modelling experience knows it too. If that's what you were doing for the 4,5 months yes man I believe you right away.
What I definitely refuse to believe is the rest of the whole reply, you cannot fool anyone guy. I do not believe you polished the book for I-don't-know-how-many hours a day for months to justify your lack of anything.
The Locket test should be out by now, and alright, I won't say anything if the animated book trailer was released.

Coming soon, Fontaine test he works on since 2019, saying in his Winifred 2020 stream yes it will be done soon.
Our favourite workaholic now of course works on updating his models too, and by how many characters he has he probably has most of them modeled so he will now update every single one of them because because, even if he shouldn ever need them.

Even for the Winifred test where he plus needed to comission a cover for the song because of copyright he needed two months. For the Lucy one even just a month, and even the thought that he worked maybe on both of them at the same time is mindblowing enough, and his Celia animaton test which has lots of stuff going on and must have taken much effort to make took "only" three months.
Locket animation test started around very beginning of april, now we have august four months and is still not done. He said then his animated book trailer will come right before or just after, which as I know him will probably come a lifetime later.
Then the guy says he's doing voice animation tests, which ok do 800 things at once and get no fucking shit done in the end at all, leaving just people with promises never held.

One year ago I swear he got much much more things done, even while writing his book.
Now he's finished with it, only revising which doesn't take so much time so he's probably finished with it too, and does nothing.

He also just paid to renew his domain two months ago. If he wanted to bring it down deliberately, he wouldn't have paid that. He also still links to it on YouTube. I don't think it's something he intentionally planned on.

Y'all have to keep in mind that Fennah is juggling like seventy different tasks at once, and he insist on doing it all by himself. It's gonna take awhile. Between the merch, the commissions, the animation tests, and even the book which is suppose to be the main focus- it's no wonder why it's taking him so long to produce any content. I was originally just gonna call him lazy, but that just doesn't seem to be the case. Y'all know he's as scatterbrained as a lobotomized squirrel half the time, we're just gonna have to be patient and see how things play out.
 
I like overly flowery prose and people making use of more of the English language than just the most commonly used words and terms, and even I find it a slog to read through.

Modern prose is typically, well bland, uninspired, and brain dead, quite a shame really, that or it is overly flowery and draining to read, reeking of a braindead desire to choose more flowery language to appear smarter than the reader.

Though if you're using a less common term, you should ensure the context it is in makes sense and context can reveal meaning, while keeping the rest mostly familiar. The only exception to this rule is if you're giving a particular character or class of character an unusually flowery way of speech, or if the subtle difference between one term and a more common term reveals a more precise and exactly description.

Fennah often stumbles into the territory of speaking down to his reader. There is nothing wrong with is word choice in general, but it's overly dense in flowery language, and one term selected confused me "crooning"

Crooning is far too discreet a term, and doesn't fit the scene. Crooning is a subtle thing. A quiet thing. Something better suited for a personal and intimate scene. It is clear he opened a thesaurus for a different word instead of "humming" and saw that, but didn't compare definitions before accept it.

I'd likely word it as so:

"[...] She leapt upon the table inelegantly, humming and jigging with the quickening zeal of a maniacal fool. As her excitement peaked she sprung towards the central countertop, throwing her arms wide as if to embrace the room and sang with fervid discord: [...]"

Is it still flowery? Yes, but it paints the image of escalation, which Fennah clearly wants, it's also robs her of any grace or sophistication in her drunken state. It's clearly supposed to be a silly scene, but he actually robbed himself of such by his word choice. I still would argue my version is too flowery, but I had some impulse to emulate Fennah's desire to indulge.

While shitting on Fennah with someone I produced this bit of obnoxious one-upmanship:
At the culmination of her third drink, Lucy’s mind had finally evicted the last facisimily of sound and sober logic, returning to gleeful inanity. She leapt upon the table inelegantly, humming and jigging with the quickening zeal of a maniacal fool. After toppling over a tail which she remembered too late was her own, Lucy collided head first against a dusky wooden beam, giggling as she clutched her own tumbling stomach. Irritably, the Minstrel firmly sat her down and commanded that she count to three. The Judge counted to a number called ‘foop’, and asserted that the number was, most assuredly real and true for the better part of a Songtower bell, finally submitting to Ludwig’s aim to vacate.

The big issue Fennah has is his word choice, and he desire to show off his vocabulary. When considering word choice the priority is on the considerations of each of the following: color, descriptiveness, flow, readability, and believability.

There is also the entire field of connotation to consider. Fennah's writing before failed at that one especially. Word choice is something even a hobbyist writer learns to exploit, and when localizing media from another language into another literal translation often doesn't quite translate meaning, so sometimes you select a synonym to capture both, however another thing you really need to remember is synonyms rarely mean the exact same thing, they often help narrow in on a more precise version of a thing, a talented and experienced writer exploits their vocabular to narrow in on these more subtle meanings.

Let's take the example sentence, and consider how every different option I leave for it completely changes how the sentence feels: "The stranger <strode/marched/walked/stepped/stalked> down the garden path towards Alex." This sentence can tell you a lot about the stranger depending on the word, he's either, in order: confident (strode), disciplined or angered (marched), relaxed or casual (walked), nervous or uncertain (stepped), unsettling or dangerous (stalked). However walked is also a bit ambiguous, it carries the least meaning, it is the default. I would recommend you avoid such a word without adding an adverb to add more detail.

Fennah, however, is still in a phase that ever writer goes though, and which a critical and honest editor often breaks you out of quite quickly,here he is more concerned about showing off all the words he knows. He isn't considering connotation nor flow to a necessary level, sometimes he's sacrificing descriptiveness in return for just using a fancy word her knows, or, which is by far the worse thing that can and is happening in the Laughhouse scene before, he's selecting words that don't mean what he thinks they mean, which results in a confusing and unfitting scene.

The first part is confusingly worded, I feel like Fennah's issue on reading that one and going "yeah, it makes sense" is some curse of knowledge issues. He knows what he means, so he can't really comprehend how confusing it is for those who don't. The latter section is just overly wordy.

I will strip most of the wording from the beginning to the second paragraph until the term "semi-circular threat" just to show how easily polished it is, and make a few a lot of tweaks to help flow.
Locket was a sight beyond mere description. A towering beast standing twelve foot tall, her slick skin the colour of blackened ash, her crown a pair of hellish crimson antlers. Clicking across the floor were the ten curved blades upon her toes, each coloured the same violent scarlet as their six sisters upon each of her clawed hands. Each ankle had an extrusion of red bone jutting up from the rear before curving towards the floor as if a sickle.

I am still not happy, but that is because Fennah is jumping up and down her. Height, skin, antlers, toes, fingers, claws, ankles. It is terrible at giving an image. For something as imposing as Locket is meant to be I would personally have started at the feet, working my way towards the antlers before capping it off with her height.

I don't know if it's because of the terrible character design or if Sam just didn't feel like doing something decent. But those models are identical to the ones he made during 2015.

Oh my gosh this looks so bad. When I first saw this, I thought it was a really old design Sam had made during his Bionicle era of animation and then I realized that this was recent and I just... it's not good at all. What I think the problem is the quality just tanks, compared to Sam's own character designs- the commissions look fake and rushed. The fact that people willingly pay him 300$ for this and then are actually satisfied the finished product will forever confuse me. Again, the skin looks like latex but idk if that's intentional or not and of course they just had to add those painful looking sexual poses. He literally puts almost no effort into his commissions and you can tell the difference from the quality, or maybe he doesn't have time to actually put in effort because he's juggling so many jobs at once. It's like he's on a time crunch with everything he does, I guess doing things consistently is just difficult for him.
