Oh no, that's just Fennah's attempt at making his characters more "alien-like" cause y'know aliens have multiple body parts or something like that. Sombra also has multiple nostrils like Celia, so that's a thing that exist I guess.

It's important to note that this image is all the way back from 2018, and that the Twitter post this image was on is about how Fennah has improved with his modeling now in 2021. Now with that being said... looking back at this-
Sam really has made quite a bit of improvement, but he still has a lot more he needs to learn. I mean this image alone just speaks for itself really, it's... not good... like literally not good at all. Is it good for a beginner? Yeah, sure. What got my attention when I first saw it was the large malformed looking ears, this was back when Fennah attempted to make Celia look more like a sea creature and yeah... yeah... that's enough of that lol. Keep in mind this was also during a time where Fennah couldn't take constructive criticism at all to save his life, so let this be a lesson alright. THIS image is a prime example of what can happen when you never learn to take constructive criticism, your work ends up looking awful and you have no one to blame but yourself. Progress.

It looks really nice I must say, and the fur on the tail looks actually like fur! And now she’s clammed with muscle, as said in the animatic. The chains didn’t disappear like we thought, just got a lower position on the chest/stomach.
On thing I dislike is the ear fur that it is so white bright, I think black would fit better like her tail, as it’s really distracting for me.
And here’s Lucy in clothes:

What's going on now?
We're on the right track Sam, although I hope all this expectation we have doesn't come crashing down.
Yes, there is something more cartoonish with these new designs (or at least in this Lucy) that I like, because it's the kind of style that really goes with his creatures. The clothes are just "ok".
Celia looks a little better now, she doesn't have such plastic skin and her hair looks better, but I'm still not convinced, maybe the design is still not to my liking.
Also there is the problem of the nails, ears and teeth that still look too fake, perhaps exaggerate less in the designs and the excessive sexualization.
The other characters are yet to be seen, and I'm curious to know how they will look like.

Why do some of Sam's characters have clothing while others don't? Apparently he's making that a thing now, like y'all know how Winifred doesn't wear clothes. So Fennah is calling that the "Winifredian style" or some shit wear they just walk around naked. The clothing Lucy is wearing was inspired by Locket and is called the "Lockettian style" I think... look these made up words are difficult to pronounce sometimes. Basically Winifred, Sombra, and Locket all started their own clothing line except not really because Winifred just walks around naked and so that doesn't even make sense. The texture of the clothes don't even look like silk the way Fennah describes it, it looks more like leather or plastic.

Anyway, the deer brothers are like the ultimate authority on the planet/universe of these critters and they each have like followers with laws and stuff. Although the multi-horned Krampus one hasn't portrayed it yet.
And that of the invented words, I think it is evident that he took it from "a certain book of rabbits", also from there he took certain hierarchies and things of the society of his aliens/monsters.

But wait that doesn't make any sense. Couldn't the other Kivs just kill the deer brothers who rule over them? Why... the rules in Fennah's universe are constantly changing up and make no sense wtf-

Yeeeeah...in Locket's part he said that she was stronger than average or something like that and that's why she couldn't be killed, I guess Sombra and Winifred work in a similar way.
(Edit: I remembered. Basically, Locket has access to knowledge and skills that no other of her species knows and that's why she's "unkillable").
Apart from the fact that she was supposed to have killed her mother somehow, who was a huge creature (yes, she didn't die during the birth, as they "biology" said. Nor did the siblings kill each other, as was also supposed).
It was to be expected that he would end up contradicting what he had already written, just to make them look like the special guys.
I can't wait for him to explain how they are somehow immune to fire, which so far is the only thing that can completely destroy the Kivvas

I guess it makes sense that it's a dictatorship, although I don't really understand how the government really works there.
Because they don't really force them to do anything, quite the contrary, the Kivvas are supposed to do what they want without any problems and it doesn't change anything who they choose to follow.
I don't sense any internal conflict, war or desperate situation. Do they even have an economy?
The most bad thing you can do is, ironically, to be good and I guess being weak would count too.

While we're on the subject of poor character design- what do you guys think of Fennah's gf WhatTheFlup? I use to follow her on Twitter, I recently got bored of her and unfollowed and she did the same soon after. For awhile I thought her art was good, she was an inspiration to me for a short while. Whenever she comments on Fennah's content it's always the same "This is the best thing ever" kind of response. There's something about her that makes me slightly uncomfortable but idk maybe I'm just overreacting lol, maybe it's because of how WhatTheFlup makes her art. Her art looks odd to say the least.

As far as I've seen the animatics the ones most valued are the one working the most, guess the government is a pyramid with Locket on top, Winifred and Sombra just right under and the high whispers, lower whispers, etc. I'd suggest looking at the animatics to understand it more, there is most explained kind of without much context.
She kind of seemed to me like a mediocre, weird DeviantArt artist who matches Fennah well in likes and dislikes, as well as being just as horny. That's like my only picture of her, more on neutral ground. She just doesn't matter much to me and adds nothing when it comes to Fennah content, except for providing the animatic's style. I'd rather say she annoys a lot with all her pointless copy commenting and her work and tweets being posted on Fennah's twitter simply because she's his gf. Also guess most people go to her for comissions on Kivs.

I was thinking the same thing when I first saw this tbh, this design is probably the blandest one thus far. I feel like the design could be better if it weren't for the antlers and weird teeth plastered on, but idk maybe that's just wishful thinking. I do like the color palette though.

Well, I would say that it looks strange for being a simpler design compared to the exaggerated ones we are used to see from Sam.
If you remove those carbon teeth and modify the ears and horns, it would be a nice design.

Alright, so nothing is happening at all, and I'm getting just piss frustrated about his "very soon" animations since one month ago he posted they'll be coming soon and still not being done.

Coming soon, Fontaine test he works on since 2019, saying in his Winifred 2020 stream yes it will be done soon.
Our favourite workaholic now of course works on updating his models too, and by how many characters he has he probably has most of them modeled so he will now update every single one of them because because, even if he shouldn ever need them.
Even for the Winifred test where he plus needed to comission a cover for the song because of copyright he needed two months. For the Lucy one even just a month, and even the thought that he worked maybe on both of them at the same time is mindblowing enough, and his Celia animaton test which has lots of stuff going on and must have taken much effort to make took "only" three months.
Locket animation test started around very beginning of april, now we have august four months and is still not done. He said then his animated book trailer will come right before or just after, which as I know him will probably come a lifetime later.
Then the guy says he's doing voice animation tests, which ok do 800 things at once and get no fucking shit done in the end at all, leaving just people with promises never held.
One year ago I swear he got much much more things done, even while writing his book.
Now he's finished with it, only revising which doesn't take so much time so he's probably finished with it too, and does nothing.
Here's a measure of his productivity and activity (excluding teasers and songs):
2018
Animation Test count: 4, including 18 Satellite City episodes???!
2019 (excluding the Yeshua test oops and the one teaser)
Animation test count: 7, plus 3 satellite city episodes of all together around 45 minutes runtime
2020+writing his book
The trial took him 17 days to make, as he was in a very tight deadline. Let that go through.
Animation test count: 5
And the book content which takes its time too and has long runtime of about. 24 minutes
2021 so far (half of it writing his book)
Animation test count: 4 (5 "sooon" with locket)
One longer book preview
a 1,5 minute voice test
and that's it

I feel kind of bad for him tbh, he refuses to except help from others because of his ego and he insist on juggling multiple projects at once. He also has bills to pay, I think him and Carmen live together, and someone's gotta put food on the table for the both of them. They're both scrapping by, Carmen mostly just does commissions and Fennah is doing commissions plus a LOT of other stuff. I highly doubt either of them have real jobs outside of the commissions, or maybe they do... fuck if I know lol.

Being bored and not seeing much activity from our boy, I decide to go to his Twitter. Holy shit.....
I've screenshotted some of his retweets of the enamel pins that finally reached the customers. Quality control doesn't exist!
Now, I don't know if the pins are sent to Sam first and he and Flup bag and send them, or the company he's working with to produce the pins do it, but there is a definite cheapness moreso than what I even thought Sam would stoop to.
Not only is there just understandable colour difference, but there's weird color burn, missing pigments, Celia seems to have some weird angled fading in her hair. The worst is consistently Winifred.
What the hell happened? These people should be refunded.
