Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Absolutely meaningless. Anyone of any sense will recognize this as a limp-wristed way of getting at people such as Abbot and DeSantis. And to think they would rather do this then whine about states "depriving people of their right to vote" for requiring greater scrutiny of voters during election time.

As far as I'm concerned that's the powers that be fault. If they weren't so wildly hypocritical, venal, petty, insincere, or just plain stupid, you wouldn't for example see so many people resist getting the jab.
