My favorite part was when Phil tried to claim he was being "respectful" and "honest" while trying to guilt-trip people into forking over $4 a month. Then promptly told everyone who wasn't happy with him to go to "another streamer where everything's sunshine and rainbows all the time."
He seriously thinks this begging makes him better than the other streamers. That's the mental gymnastics he's putting himself through.
There are so many streamers in a worse position than Phil is in life and not once do they so much as peep about their finances. The last thing Phil should want is for people to step back and realize how out of control his begging has become.

I've never seen anybody else talk this way about subscriptions, and he also used to do it all the time with his Patreon, where they so explicitly tell people that they need to ignore the lack of benefits. He's had this fundamental misunderstanding for years now where he tells people that benefits are 'not the point'. Bullshit. Patreon was literally started as a way for fans to support creators in exchange for getting something extra as a thank you, reward, or whatever you want to call it. His downplaying of that aspect of it shows exactly how much he hates his viewers and how little of his OWN effort he's willing to put into succeeding. Almost every other content creator will play UP the rewards or special benefits you get for supporting them in a certain way.

This is all typical Phil though. He'll only be jealous and talk shit about people who are more successful than him, but he'll never actually look at what they are doing different from him and then try to learn from it.

Phil if you want money, put the fucking effort into it. The only thing you provide for your membership is just emotes, thats it. Take your head out of your ass and actually do some fan interactions of some fucking sort.


Side Note: Yeah his fans may be completely stupid when it comes to supporting Phil and his lazy ass behavior but they honestly didn't deserve this fucking rant.

So here's my video on tonight which has something the other uploads so far missed: The chatter he was talking to about an hour before his unhinged rant who told him that memberships weren't worth it compared to twitch including mentioning that subs on twitch removed ads where memberships here do not remove ads from youtube. Notice how DSP didn't mention that in his rant, happy to mention the emotes over and over again, but he never touched on the ads. Gee, it's almost like he wants to double dip.
