Y’know, a smarter party might, say, deliberately stoke the flames of that civil war by inserting controlled opposition to deliberately be a strawman, get caught, then gaslight by saying the other side of the civil war is fake news. Where the fuck was this enthusiasm when Antifa and BLM set fire to the streets of America, niggers and commies burned the American flag and children even now are being taught CRT. Many parts of the country are being forced to wear face diapers, being kept inside their homes and unable to do business.

You inadvertently show why it's a bad idea to do that. Despite saying "republicans are actual idiots", you touch on why the whole "Make controlled opposition" idea is a terrible one. Inevitably, when your party's primary tool is machinations, those machinations end up being turned inwards.
The Republicans aren't stupid for not copying the Democrats here, considering that the very tactic you say they should do is one of the things that led them to rip themselves apart.
