reddit General

I help swab the poopdeck of a small subreddit about proper aquatic husbandry (yeah I know I'm autistic). Some of my fellow jannies want the subreddit to "participate in the protests" as well, which is fucking dumb. It's a teeny ass subreddit in which people talk about how to clean tank pumps and settle collonista snails, and now we gotta "do our part" and "prevent the spread of misinformation". What the fuck. I just wanna talk about shrimps.

"Hello, Reddit board of directors? Please get rid of lockdown-wrongthink subreddits, they are making it hard for me to enjoy porn on your website, sincerely Trannies" :story:
i mean reddit could just remove the ability for jannies to put subs on private mode without explicit admin approval, and that would be the end of it

It's probably unhealthy how much I enjoy the idea of a bunch of little tyrants having some of their petty internet authority unceremoniously stripped away by actual decision-makers who get paid money.

Okay, so that made me chuckle. Your point is completely right, sure it makes sense for some of bigger subreddits to do that but not yours, there's probably quite a few that are too small for a post like that to anything more than a few upvotes and maybe one or two comments either agreeing or asking what the fuck is going on.

Fr tho, what's the optimum PH level for keeping Japanese Trapdoor Snails?

One thing that I don't get is why have reddit admins picked now of all times to grow a spine and defy the mods? From what I understand reddit admins have usually gave in at every opportunity and given the mods whatever they want, and have had little-to-no issue banning wrongthink subs left and right the last few years. It seems like normally they would have banned it and be done with it.

LOL, imagine having a brony troon show up at our house asking you information about who you live with. YES LILLY, you got fired. You're a bald man in a maid outfit. Did someone report him because they thought a mentally ill man was impersonating a census worker?

And OF COURSE all he does in /r/actuallesbians is seethe about terfs
A brony transbian.
They really try to emulate their lady and savior, Chris-Chan.
The next big thing in the tranny community will be motherfucking.

I cannot be certain, but I would not be surprised if people are leaving reddit because they don’t agree with what is going on, but can’t publicly say shit about it because they get perma-banned.

I saw the writing on the wall awhile back

There is no fucking point to investing any time into reddit anymore.

It is being moderated by a bunch of hypocrites in a very fascist manner.

The general recommendation is 6-9 for any freshwater snail, but my viviparidae used to thrive best at a pH of 7-7.5. Any lower than that and they wouldn't survive for more than a few months. I haven't experimented with higher alcali levels yet as I tend to stick to basic bitch shrimp/snail/pleco tanks.

Maybe they're starting to feel the loss of users?
