Unless there's some way for normal users to audit how many subs he has, he could just set it at a normal 275-300 and then either not remove people from the tally as they unsub or just magically add to the tally between streams when people don't see the new member popup.

On youtube you get a new emote slot for memberships. For every 25 memberships until 250 you get a new one. After that it is 50 until 500. Then it's 100 until 1,000. Then 200.

Everybody knows youtube members don't get as many perks for "free" (without extra work by the streamer) as twitch, but guess what?? People still sign up to become members for other people, and they get special perks besides hearing the streamer begging all the time. I can't believe phil is this dense, that he is so blatant about not wanting to put in any work at all for the money he gets.
