Yes, and because it can actually serve as a resource for anyone else needing law enforcement and/or legal assistance with the next thing he ends up doing.
Particularly if he sues someone like Null who isn't rich. We all know how utterly inept he is, but some model who made the mistake of being nice to him then blocks him after he gets demanding might appreciate the info.

If ED's page on Russell could be dug out of an archive, that would be pretty awesome. That was my introduction to the Legal Smeagol and it was pretty good. A synopsis of the events (with screenshots) works better than just a link to the post which started a saga.
Why pull it out of an archive? It's right here. And yeah, like most ED pages it's a pretty amusing read.

Satan was an angel, so perhaps you're right.

The OP is great (and could be made greater), but I suppose I question whether it's desirable to try to cram links to absolutely everything important into one post. But if @Cryin RN thinks it sounds good, they could update the OP, or other posters could compile info and links for Cryin RN to insert into the OP.

I believe Cryin RN said there's actually almost no room left in the OP for new information to be added.

However, the guy who made the first post after the OP has offered up his post for additional space, so the OP could be extended and divided into two sections, or whatever a good solution would be.
We could just create posts anywhere in the thread to be resources to further links/archives to important stuff/more detailed run-downs of each drama. Then the OP could have a synopsis of the arc and then link to the post for more details. It doesn't have to be the second or third post in the thread, as long as the OP has enough keywords for searches and such.

So, for instance, the OP could have a paragraph and maybe a couple screenshots about Taylor Swift, then link to my post here, which would have much more detail, links, screenshots, archives, etc. Doesn't really matter that the archive post is on page 8000 or whatever, as long as the OP has a really concise summary. Then someone could go through and consolidate all the Ariana Grande stuff into one post, then Erika, then the brothel adventures, then his musical aspirations, then miscellaneous Russ bullshit like suing his bio-sister, etc.

I've actually been hoping that someone would compile a single post with all the legal filings, if nothing else. It's kinda neat to read them back-to-back like it's like an experimental novel dramatizing Russ's deterioration. It's also really hard to find them in this thread, so it can be a bit of a pain.

:story: Ah, The thirstiest ding in Utah.

That was such a great hook and one of the first things I saw when I "educated" myself about this cow after seeing him discussed on Reddit years ago. That and "He's the Florida Man of Utah."

Now he's the Florida Man of Las Vegas.

Is anyone interested in helping to set up a wiki to organize Greer material in an easier-to-reference system than this thread? The objective of this wiki would be to index all the vital Greer material in one place, where curious onlookers could read through it easily rather than being forced to wade through the 3,000-plus pages of this thread. As mentioned earlier, the idea of reviving the Greer subforum has been shot down, so this seems like the next best option.

I’m glad to work on writing, editing, research and other stuff in that area. However, I don’t know anything about how to start up a wiki, especially one that would be relatively deletion-proof.

Edit: If you're interested in helping, send me a message.
To add to this, the logistics required are such, and while I would be glad to help fill it with content, I don't have the time to set it up, nor the disposable income at this time to cover the initial costs:
  1. We need hardware enough to run the wiki on. You could rent a VPS, you'd want to start at about 100 GB of storage and maybe 2GB of RAM. This would be around $10USD a month, and susceptible to petitioning the host to get it taken down. To be harder to take down you could run it yourself in your home. For this you could likely get away with a headless server running some light weight Linux distro in the corner of the room with a cheap quadcore CPU and the cheapest RAM sticks you can find to go in there at dual channel, running RAID 10 with four 100GB HDDs to be fast and durable, while being dirt cheap, and a small extra HDD or SSD for the OS and software to live. This would survive any disk failure that might ever happen and I doubt we'll end up with more than 100GB of Greer crap. It would need to be on a network with an internet upstream of at least 10mb to be usable, preferably you'd want to aim for around 30mb because of media files and your own day to day usage. It'd be easy to DoS, but it would be usable for the amount of traffic it'd get even if everyone likely to use it logged in at once. The host would potentially face lawsuits though considering who Greer is.
  2. A domain name would need to be purchased, DNS configured, a way to get the domain to point to the correct network as needed, and the router configured correctly to push to the correct device if ran out of the corner of your room.
  3. Software to run the site on would need to be selected. I recommend MediaWiki.
At the cheap end, getting this online and the system administration nonsense, assuming shit goes wrong early on would take a minimum of weekend and around $10USD for the VPS and depending on the domain you want $0USD for something like a .tk domain, and last I looked a .wiki domain averaged $20USD if you wanted the vanity.

At the high end, you can spend tens of thousands of dollars of overkill on a custom PC and an enterprise level internet connection put into your house with DDoS protection beyond what Kiwifarms, and get a .protection domain for like $2000USD last I looked at silly expensive top level domains.

That said, at the amount of work it'd take to set up and maintain a wiki, I would propose if we do so, it support more than just Russell Greer. It'd need to be a curated list of the top cows and communities on this forum that would be actually benefit from having more than a OP could ever hope to handle, and we would need to get the assistance of others to help with such a thing. However, this would put you at the same level of risk as Null occasionally faces from Lolsuits.

If we're creating a thread-based resource I think it should be best laid out in chronological order, just to see his mental decline laid out for all to see in some sort of timeline. I agree the big events should be highlighted, though.
I think the OP should be laid out that way, but the individual archive posts probably work better as themed posts rather than chronological. It makes it easier for people new to Russ/looking for something specific from a particular drama to navigate and be able to get the whole story (or at least that chapter). But the OP could be more than just an index, it could have the overarching story with just the details pulled out. Easier to find stuff overall, imo.

RE: The mental decline.

Could there also be a gallery of photos documenting his degradation of hygiene? Maybe just two side by side to show the decline?
Well, there wasn't much of a gradual degredation. He straight up went from reasonably groomed to hobo the moment he moved out of his parents house. I'm sure they were the only ones forcing him to take care of his appearance/hygiene. Yes, he's gotten more hideous over the years, but that's likely due to age and diet more than him slowly losing interest in hygiene. He lost interest long ago.

VNIMANIYE, VNIMANIYE! If you are interested in contributing to a Greer wiki, please message either me or ronic. If there's a particular chapter of Russtory you'd like to draft a wiki entry for, let me know. We're looking for people who are ready and able to research topics and write them up in a clear, accurate and concise way.

Broad categories we're looking at include:

1. Russell's biographical details
2. Written works
3. Music
4. Legal cases
5. Social media activity

This is a project in its very early stages. Perhaps publishing a Greer wiki will prove untenable, or perhaps a better alternative will emerge. However, until that happens, we're exploring it as an option that would allow people to reference Greer information in a more convenient way than using this now very long thread.

So as not to beset this thread with unnecessary autism, this will be the last wiki-related post I'll make here for the foreseeable future. Thank you for reading!

And I'm not even getting back into what's already been discussed ad nauseum about how he's just going to target a young woman to harass and add to his criminal record.
The genius also posted his tweet so literally nobody can respond to it anyway. What an absolute mushbrain moron.

Given the way he reacts to criticism of any kind, it's like he's allergic to it. He was posting his Taylor Swift attack song in music subreddits, and he was so incensed by the negative feedback he ran off and didn't come back.

Oh good! Nobody posted this yet:

Or have the best of both worlds. Each broad topic further categorised into year of event.

How many years of, "Russ did X and failed hilariously," are we at anyway?
