Careercow Brandon "Bam" Margera - From Jackass to Lolcow

Startling to see a guy I recognize from a show I really liked to have spiraled down like this. Guy clearly did not have the right role models (looking at you, Steve-O) around him.
Well, I'm happy to see that Bam and his family's life is hopefully going up from here on up now. All Bam needs to do is not relapse back into addiction, which of course will be extremely difficult knowing how he is. Or other shit to happen. Let's hope he's moved on and doesn't antagonize Johnny or anyone else related to the show again.

Also, I still fucking miss Dunn. Can we exchange Ethan Ralph for him, pretty please?

This is a video by the people who are remastering the CKY videos to show their progress, it’s a deleted scene in which Bam is warned by Phil about the downfalls of Hollywood fame. Phil says something along the lines of “there’s rich people who are real assholes and I’d rather be a poor guy with a son who isn’t an asshole”:

Bam takes this opportunity to admit that he is an asshole and always will be. Phil quietly admits that he fucked up if that’s how Bam feels. (At 16:00 in case the video doesn’t embed properly)

Earth rocker bros, I don't feel so good...

From Kosick’s IG, looks like they’re delaying the release of the movie.

Cue the anti-maskers and Covid deniers in the comment section.
We won Earthrockers. Obviously the delay is an excuse and in reality they have to delay because Bam's lawsuit has clear merit. After all the only drug Bam had in his system was Adderall and it was prescription!

In other news Bam's Instagram has uploaded a new video about the struggles of mental health. So it appears Bam is making the first steps to becoming an advocate just like his best friend Brandon Novak.

Goes without saying that Bam clearly did not write this message.

No fucking way I'm reading 60 pages of this bullshit, but with the several pages I had no one had pointed out that Bam is obviously a closeted homosexual.

He was in love with Ville Valo. He was in love with Ryan Dunn.

He's only drinking and drugging because of all the faggotry building up inside him that he hasn't yet released.

Edit: the late reacts inspired me to search the thread for "fag" and I'm pleased to see that I'm not the only one who has made this observation.

Bam getting Valo's bands logo tattooed right above his cock definitely made up my mind.

Go away. You're not welcome in this thread.

Are you new?
A 60 page thread is basically nothing on here unless you have to follow along with the words with your finger.
If you don’t read the thread you probably aren’t going to contribute anything worthwhile that hasn’t been said already by multiple people.
Like this.

Shortly after Viva La Bam finished, MTV and Bam did one more VLB collaboration called “Viva La Spring Break.”

By this point, April and Phil had moved out of the castle and back to the old house, and when a camera crew showed up, they were pointedly not happy about it. A good five minutes of the segment was them insisting “they were done” and April finally clicked “Are we filming a show?”

They legit thought VLB was behind them.

But no. Bam paid a bunch of normal strangers to trash their place, buying Phil off with his own pizza. Then after getting no sleep, uncle Shitbirdz picks them up and takes them to a helicopter.

(Uncle Shitbirdz, btw, was Don Vito’s replacement in Bams Unholy Union)

But all April and Phil were really used for was to drive two RVs from Miami back to Philadelphia.

Bam woke them up made them go back on TV just for that. He was a prick to his parents.

I archived this in case Bam and co. feels like deleting this later. It’s Phil showing regret over the way Bam turned out. View attachment 2506044
Poor Phil. He’s a good dude. He has a haunted look in his eyes as he’s talking, he already knows Bam is fucked and it’s too late.

Letting MTV in the door was the biggest mistake IMO, it was like unleashing a genies curse.

Don't have anything to add, but I still want to say I really liked Phil and Ape, poor folks just seemed like they just wanted the best for Bam. That scene with the croc or gator in the kitchen was the funniest damn thing i'd ever seen. I'm chuckling now just remembering it.

Wow, poor Phil and April.

I have no doubt he really did think he raised Bam right. For all I know, he probably did. I'm glad he got that out there in front of Bam like that. The catharsis was worth it if nothing else.

FWIW I really enjoyed "Bam's Mom Says Fuck." back in the day. But I was in my 20s and not smart enough to realize the risks people take with working with corporate shitheads like MTV or TLC. And FWIW, I don't think the Margeras fully knew either.

I honestly don’t think Ape and Phil can be fully blamed for the way Bam turned out, look at Jess he wasn’t the star of the show but to this day his life is infinitely richer for what his brother did for his band. He’s shared stories on IG talking about memories from the past including meeting DMX at an industry party and hanging out with him all night and knowing Darkman X they partied hard.

Phil was a good dad, he carted Bam all over the Pennsylvania area as a kid so he could follow his dreams and when he realized them they allowed him to drop out of school. I’m willing to bet that he did the same for Jess and his band. And along the way we all know he tried his best to impart them with knowledge, exactly like he’s trying to do in the clip I shared that Bam completely ignores and refuses to take seriously.

Bam says in the above clip “I’m going to be an asshole forever, I make money off it”. Bam put his tv persona front and center for so long it became who Bam was, for the worst. In more recent interviews Bam has said when he’s in situations in public he plays the part that he thinks the public wants to see; which he could get away with as a dreamy teen heartthrob but as a 40-year old man he repels anyone genuinely looking out for him until now when he’s surrounded by a junkie/groupie wife and a bunch of faggots who want to do drugs with him and be in his movies.

And for all the wrong choices he’s made you have to admit he had a lot of pressure on him to keep up his act and if any of us were in his shoes we might make the same mistakes he did.

Bam was always a douchebag, but he was a professional douchebag who had a lot of people counting on him to make their money for their families. He had to keep up his good looks and thin physique for MTV which is where the eating disorder and speed came into play. His life was a never ending tv production which meant 7 days a week he was working 12 hours a day with him at the center of it all so the speed also made sure he could work the long hours.

And how many people relied on Bam to pay their bills? Friends, his own family, and certainly MTV gave locals plenty of work building sets, ramps, stages, and feeding crews etc and Bam would’ve become public enemy number one if that cash cow dried up because he wanted to quit being drunk and retarded.

It’s like you see in school shooters and the like, they come from great homes but something went haywire along the way without any fault of parents. Bam had a dad who was extremely supportive to a fault and he helped him reach a place where he stared the evils of fame and riches right in the eye and in the end he made the wrong decision.

Obligatory apology for a double post, and a minor update:

A new IG post, also obviously written by someone else to shill for a podcast April did an interview for.2109204B-BF7A-40FA-BAA3-DA22DE8867D1.jpeg
This is the second post in a row that he didn’t write with the comments disabled.

The podcast is mostly about her furniture restoration store, which makes me wonder how badly they need money if she’s doing a podcast with a nobody to drum up business and trying to get her sons fans to listen in.
About halfway through she does make a statement on Bam, I’ve taken the liberty of sharing the clip we care about:
