Wuhan Coronavirus: Megathread - Got too big

Big Doug Ford just passed a vaccine passport here in Ontario today. It's supposed to be based on a QR Code, connected to an app, from the sounds of it. Looks like he just made sure Mad Max gets my vote in a few weeks. This shit sounds like a logistical nightmare. Imagine having to wait in line for even longer to get into a movie because everybody has to scan their vaccine passports now, in addition to their movie tickets. It's funny, everybody I encounter that actually supports it is an old white woman. I know of nobody else in real life that wants to deal with this bullshit
>Going to the movies

I know the overarching theme you're communicating is "it won't just be the movie theaters dipshit" and I understand/agree. That said, why anyone goes to theaters these days instead of streaming it through whatever means necessary from the comfort of your own home is just lolworthy.
They're either retarded and they don't, or they do and they're being dishonest to pull out the hypocrite card.
Both.

Ah so it doesn't fail 80% of the time, just 50% of the time. Glad to know! Thanks Snopes! This definitely makes me want to take an experimental drug that most likely has disastrous side effects to my long term health!

Also they surveyed 1000 companies and by 4Q 78% will demand employees disclose their vax status and 21% will make it a condition of employment for all employees.

@Fanatical Pragmatist -- COVID/Flu coinfection paper PDFs attached (side note -- Wiley inserts fucking ads at the head of PDFs they host now, wtf)

Bonus COVID vaccine contamination content -- remember J&J's colossal fuckup earlier this year? They knew the plant was a dumpster fire and used it anyway. Cross-contamination wasn't metal, but was viral components from <drumroll> Astra Zeneca's COVID vaccine. If you listen carefully, you can hear the circus music in the background.

https://archive.md/ddr5e -- J&J knew the Baltimore plant sucked

https://archive.md/xUq2n -- FDA's report on how bad the plant J&J and AZ used sucked

https://archive.md/R1JjU -- FDA orders J&J to throw out 60m contaminated doses... while some can still be used, with a "lol this may be contaminated crap" sticker affixed

i can totally see middle and high schoolers in places where there are enforced school mask mandates organizing things like "at 11:15 AM we all take off our masks" in the coming months assuming they are still in effect by then
And burning masks just like how feminists used to burn bras and shouting "we won't look like a brick in Pink Floyd's wall".

Edit: An earlier post mentionned Tony Blair who's in favour of a global vaccine passport. At this rate, he proved Alex Jones right. https://www.bitchute.com/video/10LkTu4DO4ol/

I have a question. Is quarantining for two weeks medically necessary after someone’s had the coof? Like if someone gets covid and stays home for a few days until they feel better, they’d still have to isolate themselves for the (mandated, of course) full two weeks, right? To make extra super sure they got all the covid dust off of them? Is it possible to get a negative test after 3-4 days?

This self quarantine business seems like an ancient tradition that we still employ because it’s the way we’ve always done things.

It might be different in other locations, but in the U.S. it's now recommended to quarantine only 10 days after onset of symptoms (as long as you're no longer symptomatic). You can also opt to do a test instead though.

Some workplaces have different requirements though. My work still had the policy of 14 days counting from when you got your test back. By CDC rules I was cleared to be out of quarantine 5 days after I got my test back because of when my symptoms started, but I had to wait to go back to work.
