And for the record, the bad audio drops are "repeating something 700 times makes it funny." Which fits Dax.

It was Karl's reaction to realizing Cum Town was a huge success that showed what a grifter he is. Not liking something popular is fine. Suddenly pretending you DO like something because you fins out it's popular is faggotry.

I learned to kind of enjoy it from clips on youtube, first time I tried the podcast the incessant woody woodpecker laughter drove me insane and I stopped within a couple minutes.

unlike 99% of podcasts it doesn't talk about current events for the most part, but is almost entirely bits. so you could listen to an episode from 5 years ago or today and find something good.

think about daxter's podcast, or the killstream, or rogan and his buddies. tons of dead air with little jokes or just shooting the shit. with cumtown almost everything is said in order to get to the joke, its like the ricky gervis show for 90s kids. everyone fills their roles excellently too. no one trying to be more or less than their role. the joke per minute ratio is higher than any other podcast i've heard besides redbar. and cumtown is much easier to get into, plus the jokes are simplistic enough that your average redditor would enjoy them. its almost like a sketch show in podcast form, except cut down extremely, no time wasted on long set ups or characters just "back to the future but marty's a neo-nazi" "Sebastian the crab wants to fuck ariel" "homer joins the proudboys"

tl;dr its the closet thing you could get to a writer's room of a comedy show, just constant pitches and jokes and bits.

It's a great show in general, but it's even better if you've been following since BPITU. Granted, TDS isn't quite as good as Biggest Problem was at its best, but I still enjoy it.
