Idk why but pro lifers really come across as sociopathic sometimes which makes it hard to support them. like I understand if I young girl is raped and she wants to have the option to not give birth to a baby she did not consent to having, but it’s more like they hate the idea of having a family and motherhood more than actually helping vulnerable women.

I just don’t like how much they demonize motherhood or having a baby so much. And I hate how hostile they get towards women who actually want to have kids.

All they have done is put into law a limit on terminations when the fetal heart beat can be heard, about 15-20 weeks. That is roughly the same as the rest of the western world allows, but no they think its perfectly reasonable to terminate today if the due date is tommorow. So its the typical over egging of the cake and honestly if you dont realise you are perhaps pregnant after 3 months or 4 then are you capable to be part of normal society?

At it's core it's about killing a baby, the reason you're killing that baby is irrelevant. This is one of those clown arguement the left makes, a baby doesn't stop becoming a baby because a woman is raped.

I'd also point out that 38 states have fetal homicide laws on the books it's painfully obvious the state considers a fetus a person.

The 25 years language was O'Connor's and was ridiculed in Thomas's dissent, which expressed the opinion it was already unconstitutional and while it would still be unconstitutional in 25 years, it should be done away with immediately. There's no particular reason for the magic 25 year number, and even if the Court chose to uphold Bollinger, this case involving Asians is clearly against even that decision. Literally penalizing applicants solely for their race and effectively establishing a quota system couldn't be more patently unconstitutional.
