I almost guarantee this has been asked in the past 630 pages but is there any way to check local obituaries or local news around the area just to see if there was even a suicide or death the day near was said to have done it? Would probably be pretty weeny to call local news sources or other agencies for information but would at least provide definitive info that couldn't be stupidly brushed off as "well the government bureaucratical is just super slow it'll totally be there in 6 months trust me guys"

Do you mean in Japan? Byuu had no real connections to locals, he was a sperg who didn't speak the language. The company he worked is the only place that could be expected to put out a (dual language) obituary, but none has ever been found, and Wayne Beckett and Hector both work in the scene so if one existed they could have triumphantly linked it. No obituary put out by the family was ever found either. One kiwi tried to reach Byuu's ex-husband but got not answer as far as I know.
