For people who weren't autstically following the thread, the evidence for David Kirk Ginder killing himself is precisely as follows:
- An anonymous friend of Byuu's claimed to have been on a call with him when he offed himself via drug overdose. This was disclosed via a GoogleDoc that Hector posted.
- Hector claimed to have spoken to a police officer that confirmed it
- Japanese police officers are not legally allowed to disclose information like that to people who are not next of kin
- Anonymous friend purportedly took a photograph of Byuu's corpse in his apartment, but has refused to post it
- Japanese police would not allow access to a crime scene
- Hector claims to have a copy of Byuu's death certificate, although he has refused to post it
- It's unclear how he would have obtained the death certificate
- A photograph of an urn with David Kirk Ginder written on it was posted
- You can just buy these
- Wayne Beckett, the Hong Kong based founder of Datapower Development, purportedly employed Byuu and confirmed this death to USA Today (it's worth noting that "Wayne Beckett" posted it in this thread first, so they might have just lifted it off here).
- Digging revealed Byuu's workplace was likely Cyber Gadget Corporation/サイバーガジェット in the KSK building in Chiyoda, which manufactures reverse engineered hardware for vintage video games. They do have links to Wayne Hughes Beckett/ウェインヒューズベケット as an "inventor" (likely patent holder) but they became divorced from their parent company a few years back. None of the employees found has mentioned anything about a colleague dying, and only 23 people work there.
- There has been no mention of this death in any Japanese media for David Ginder or any Japanese transliteration of that like デビッドギンダー, despite the fact they normally would post something about a Gaijin suicide
- This has also specifically included trawling papers in Arakawa Ward, where Byuu claimed to live (on the 14th floor of an apartment building with a balcony)
- There has been no obituary posted by any of his family members in any of their local newspapers
- The US Department of State has not disclosed any suicides of American citizens on or around the 27th of June in Japan
- Hector claims this is because the US Department of State does not have complete records, but this implies that Mexico has better record keeping than Japan, and ignores that updates are up to the last day of the month
- The body was supposedly found straight away
- Byuu said his passport would be uploaded after his death as proof, and this was not done
- Byuu has suicide baited before and had a direct motive to pretend to kill himself
