He’s become so good at convincing himself of whatever narrative fits his perceived reality, I wouldn’t doubt for a second he made himself believe that the same person tipping using 2-3 different usernames are indeed different people. Anything to protect that gorgon-sized ego I guess.
I remember in a rant back when he was on Twitch when he tried to big himself up about how he had "thousands of fans" he made it seem like he legitimately thinks there's zero overlap between viewers on Twitch and Youtube and how there's zero overlap between playthroughs, so if he played 6 games in a week and had 400 viewers on average per stream, which was his viewer numbers just before he lost partnership and left, he thought that was 2400 unique viewers, then take around the 1 thousand views per average that his videos on Youtube get and that's 6000 viewers, bringing the total to 8400 unique viewers. Of course, just looking at his Twitch (and now Youtube) chat every day you saw that it was the same fucking dentheads talking there day in and day out no matter what game he plays. Amazing how low a narc can go in their delusions just to protect their fragile ego and false self-image. Not to mention that those numbers are pathetic anyway for someone who has 190k subs on Youtube and had tens of thousands of followers on Twitch (forgot the exact amount).

The best part about this membership rant from Monday and the continuation today is that persistence about how the memberships are just to show that you care about his "work" and want to support him and the benefits are just the "icing on the cake".

Fine, Phil. If you want to put in this way, I have a surprise for you! I'm changing your Costco membership to 'DSPremium', a brand new, and exclusive, membership plan!!!
It costs $5 per month and includes the following:

- Total access to any Costco in Washington. Pretty cool, huh?;
- You can park your car for FREE (for the first hour)! Amazing, right? (If people tell you that the parking lot was always free for the first hour, they are trolls and you shouldn't be listening to them);
- You don't get any special bonuses for buying at Costco. You see, this membership is for the REAL fans, the people that support Costco no matter what!
- You get some stickers to put in your car, idk lol;
- You have to wear a Lime Green vest when you enter the building, so people can clearly see that you're a REAL fan! (You need to give the vest back when you leave the building).

Pretty cool, huh? And you can buy the Super Duper Mega DSPremium membership, which costs $25 and has the same thing I described. No, it doesn't include anything else.

Borderline MATI right now after tonight's stream, but I think I've earned that. Few things tilt me, and normally I fall under the umbrella of just "point and laugh at the fat balding retard". Tonight, not so much. Yes, Brandon Cole is his own flavor of shitbag, and being a wheelchair doesn't preclude him from such scrutiny. If being retarded was a shield that exempted people from being brought to task for their behavior, both Chris-Chan and DSP would be off-limits. That said, even though Brandon is a dickhead, he's still a guy that makes considerably less than Phil, with a wife of his own, bills of his own, etc. Unlike Phil, however, Brandon knows real adversity.

Dude wakes up every morning and can't see his own wife (probably a blessing tbh), but had the dark (lol) fate of falling in love with video games and gaming, a passion which he'll never be able to fully appreciate. Barring a miracle or a leap in medical advancement, he's relegated to appreciating only a portion of his most loved hobby. Yet for all his flaws and the fact that yes, he's a retard that gives Phil money, dude pushes forward to make that hobby as enjoyable as possible not only for himself, but others like him.

Almost any other streamer would've refunded that tip. I've seen streamers that were legitimately struggling with some serious shit (medical bills, death in the family, disaster relief, etc.) refund tips because they knew the donator personally and felt like it was too much. Is it ok under certain circumstances to graciously accept a donation that size? Sure. This isn't one of those cases. Phil knows better. He knows Brandon as personally as Phil allows himself to know any of the mongs that toss shekels his way. Under no circumstances should he have taken this money.

In spite of all that, he greedily lapped up the $70 in cash that SuperBlindCuck tossed his way, like a hungry little cumslut eager for the fix. For any real man, any real person who was actually down on their luck and struggling, such an act of generosity from someone who has it WAY harder would've resulted in a welling up of emotions. I've seen grown men, actual tough men be reduced to tears when God (or whatever you believe in) sends them a message like this, an act of kindness that says to your fellow man "hey we're all in this together and things will get better". This faggot cried over a fake e-mail he wrote about himself TO himself, but SBM gets the cursory "oh thanks man you didn't have to do that, let's get you up on my whoreboard" treatment.

It's been posted here before, but I'll post it again. Phil, here's how a real man who loves his job treats his viewers. This is what real humility looks like. Take notes so you can at least pantomime it better down the road, you unrepentant roach.

He’s doing a lot of damage with this build, but he really just has no rhyme or reason to his movements. I know it might look chaotic watching someone play a fast paced game like this, but you need to be thinking on your feet and not just doing whatever.

he dashed right into a trap in that “rng room” where he lost two lives, and in general he clearly just can’t keep up or see wtf is happening on screen. He got shot by an arrow and thought it was a spear trap, and he got hit so many times by Theseus’s spear throw even after killing the Minotaur. It’s so fucking easy to see him targeting you and just being mobile for a few seconds, and he kept eating them by standing still.
I fast-forwarded through this stream and I don't get his playstyle at all. You don't have to dash constantly, you can stand still or walk while attacking and dash through attacks and projectiles to dodge them. He just spams dash and gets hit because of it. Reminds me of those meme clips of doom 2016 where people jump around, turn left and right and switch weapons inbetween every shot to make the game look complex/hardcore.

Reply/quoting still seems borked, so I'll just throw out my two cents.

Financially, Phil is still doing well, but the shift to YouTube still hurt him. He's far from dead, and even declaring that he's circling the drain is premature, but he's in a not so great spot. Being away from Twitch is making him face reality that there's no "silent majority". Back in the day, he could delude himself into thinking all those subs represented actual people, but now, he's realizing how many of them were actually gift subs. It was the best of both worlds for Phil, he could get the money of someone who actually had a larger amount of viewers, without having to put up with so many viewers. We've seen before he hates/is afraid of large views. I think his claims of silent majority are his desperate fantasy of what he wants to happen, having hundreds of fan silently watching in awe at his elite gaming skills.

While I don't think he was retaining viewers, having the large numbers did help people find him on Twitch. On YouTube, he's pretty stagnant, and people aren't really going to YouTube to watch new streamers. At most, they'll go there when the content creators they follow do streams. But even then, I feel like most YouTubers who also stream still go onto Twitch. Twitch is just the superior site for streaming because that's what it's built for, a fact Phil can't wrap his head around.

His paypigs can keep him afloat for awhile, probably another year or two at minimum, but the worse things get for Phil, the more temper tantrums he'll throw. And, with a smaller chat audience, he's more likely to lash out at his regulars. We've seen before that even loyal paypigs can be driven away if Phil lashes out at them, and with how unhinged he's been in some of his rants, it's more likely that will happen. Especially because paypigs are prone to offering advice, which Phil hates because following advice means exerting effort, so he'll just call them morons and drive them away. I know it seems impossible now with OIC, but remember, OIC is still relatively "new" as far as paypigs go, and we've seen ones who were around for years longer than OIC get driven away by Phil.

Some will ultimately scamper back and throw more money at Phil, but even then, they don't really hit the same levels of donation from their original loyalty. And, I think with all the begathons and other pushes for money, he's really bled even the loyal paypigs dry. Before, it felt like they'd take turns as the big donators, then lay low for a few months so someone else could take over, giving the original paypig a chance to build their finances back up.

If he can get back to Twitch, I think his situation will become more sustainable. I don't think it's quite as easy as some people think for him to return. Not because the process is particularly difficult, but solely because Phil is stubborn/lazy, There's also a bunch of pretty easy changes to make, namely cutting down on spending and saving up, but I think Phil is so beyond the point of being able to change it is even worth considering those options.

Let me see if I've got the last couple days events right.

Phil: I can't believe you idiots won't become a member of my channel. You get so many benefits!
Peasants: Actually the benefits suck, they were better on Twitch, at least there you could use the emotes on different stream chats.
Phil: I know I just tried to sell you on memberships with the benefits, but the benefits are not the point, morons! The point is to support the stream.
Peasants: (Still not becoming members)
Phil: REEEEEEEEEEEEE

what do you guys think, would phil get more, or less money, if he stopped constantly begging?
how about if the hour and a half long prestreams stopped and he did a a maybe 20 minute how do you do segment and then got into gameplay, you think he would make more? or less money because of that

just thinking, that's all
I think he’d probably make a little less. I think a majority of fan base see passed the sky is falling shit…they just give until they end up moving on. There’s probably a few who genuinely buy his sob stories and give accordingly.

Less money if he begged less? Good question, probably less begging=less viewers and less $.

The begging is part of the shitshow that haters and ironic fans turn into after all.

Shorter prestream would probably also hurt him (as weird as it sounds).

Over the years, Phil has managed to build a community (or well, the community has built itself!). People don’t just turn in to laugh at him and his rants. (which the prestreams deliver!) They also come to hang out and relax with the people that they’ve seen in chat for years in some cases.

The only changes Phil could make that would be positive and attract viewers would be stuff like playing with them, which his ego forbids, or be less rude to them: Again something that goes against his narcissist hermit ways.

Or you know: Listen to his viewers and do things like: Cooking with the King. But again: NO! It’s a gaming channel not a cooking channel. Phil’s autism is tripping himself up here.

Definitely less. Which will make him panic and start begging again. Begging is a part of who he is now. It's impossible for him to refrain from it at this point.

yeah this isn't really a "how could phil become a better streamer" kind of thing, i really think he's just hard coded to beg and be a massive lazy piece of shit, but if he somehow managed to stop begging, would people find him more watchable? i know the begging and toxic greed and desperation give us a lot of content, i guess without that there wouldn't be much apart from the absolute shit gameplay, snorting, belching and robot like commentary

He needs the begging / drama to rally both his fans and detractors. The detractors bring in the attention and views and make him 'relevant' and the fans hurry to help their idol and 'fend off the trolls'. Without this, his content would get stale very fast and the support would dwindle too. That's why he makes up drama and begs on a regular basis. He knows it works.

Precisely, I distinctly remember this year during both the Anony leaks stream and the stream where he lost his partnership, his viewership skyrocketed and he almost hit 1k views. Now in absolute terms that's not much but relatively speaking he more than doubled his views on those streams compared to his usual average of 400 viewers per stream on Twitch. In the weeks after both big drama events, the paypigs drowned him in pahsitivity, but it then quickly petered out. Just check @Piece of Peace's spreadsheet in the Loan and Savings thread, in May, which was the month after he lost partnership, he made out like a bandit with an estimated 15.5k in revenue, then the month after that he didn't even hit 10k and "only" had 9.3k in revenue. Piggy thrives and survives on drama, no matter how much he denies it.

Phil sure loves to whine. Faced with legit criticism about him not giving back? “Wah, I work six days a week, and can only spend one day with my wife!” Not only did you not answer the question, Phil, but that sounds like a you problem. Then again, you never do anything wrong.

I wonder if he has copyrighted his dspgaming and theycallmedsp branding.
in germany a guy lost his insta account to a hacker. he was black mailed and didn't comply.
he wanted back his account and in order to do it, he used the copyright system.
he registered his internet nickname (handle of the insta account) in his name for a few hundred reichs dollars and sent the docs to facebook, which kicked the guy from his account, deleted everything and gave him an empty account with his name.
has phil registered his internet handles anywhere as trademarks?
iirc his company is called burnel productions llc or something

p.s.: I can't quote some posts. is this a system problem or a user settings feature?
p.s.: I am obliged by internet law to use this disclaimer: don't try to mess with Phil, retards are retards in their own special way and don't need any external feedback.

I know that Phil discredited Facebook and he doesn’t use it, but just to add to your argument…

If you’re a copyright owner and you have a contact with a managed partner on Facebook, the likelihood of content breaching copyright being taken down and having your access restored is pretty damn close to 100%.

As for the trademark, an idiot from Reddit tried to purchase it only to be laughed at.
The guy who's planning to buy DSP's trademark uploaded a video on Reddit boasting:

What the fuck is he doing? What a moron.
