Just to add to what you're saying about hospitals being overrun by this, it doesn't even take you having one of those serious medical emergencies to get fucked now. Because of a COVID outbreak (i live in constant red/orange county) the local hospital had to shut down it's behavioral health floor, AKA the locked ward where the crazies are kept. Around here you better not have a mental health issue requiring an involuntary hold, because of COVID there are 0 beds for someone in that situation.

to a degree the second one has a bit of truth to it, because stopped clocks and all that shit. i can agree that the media has made it a lot harder for the public to take things seriously because they had initially reported on sars-cov-2 like it was the end of the world, and when that didn't happen we just got hiv part two in the sense of people eschewing caution completely, since lower risk than expected = no risk in their logic.

He's rich enough that he can afford an impromptu prescription for human doses but still, ivermectin is a preventative, like vitamin D, zinc, or choroidal silver. It doesn't do a whole lot after the fact.

Unlike zinc or *maybe* HCQ, colloidal silver doesn't do shit. It has *some* value as a topical antibiotic, but it was largely superseded by modern antibiotics. IIRC it still has some value in being put as eyedrops in the eyes of newborn babies, and use in water filters, but I could be mixing that up with silver nitrate. If you imbibe enough colloidal silver you'll end up looking like Papa Smurf because of argyria.

It's because I don't actually hate these people, I just hate the choices they're making. I would vastly prefer that they don't rush out and eat apple flavored horse deworming paste and get actual medical advice from actual medical doctors, but if they're going to do that I might as well laugh at their stupidity.

Because it's hilarious. While it's tragic they died, it's funny because they think they are the smartest people on the planet yet act extremely retarded, it's almost like I'm on a forum making fun of such individuals.
