What is with this weird Karl clone thing going on? I see there are like 10 guys in Phil’s chat with Karl shoehorned into a name. How can a single viewer dominate a chat this intensely?

Today's stream has been an absolute disaster.

In other news water is wet. Phil has produced so much salt to cause a drinking water shortage. It's not just that

Snowkarl stays for a number of reasons
1) he's not an actual troll, he's not a wheelchair fan, he's just chaotic neutral doing it for shits and giggles
2) he doesn't cross Phil's arbitrary line
3) he is literally the entire reason chat moves after 1 pm on the day streams since he's the only somewhat normal person actively talking on the stream, so banning him would leave him with power hungry, egotistical and actual crazy people like Kghaleon, OIC and Derich or trolls.

And of course, he gives Phil 30 bucks a month or whatever it is.

I second this. And today is only the second day of September so perfect time to start.

I would give a generous estimate of $360 monthly. Assuming he's switched to the mandatory $1.50 tip that dsp requires to make up PayPal fees. At least 8 $1.50 tips a day. Very rough math.

The OMM/SilentBob/Bobbajo scam has been happening pretty much every day-stream in the last couple of months. It's been going on for almost a year but it wasn't as obvious before because if he hit the $100 goal before break, he wouldn't bring it up.

How are people in his chat/smaller contributors ok with him just "randomly checking email" right before/after break and there being a behind-the-scenes contribution every. single. day.

Wheelchair symbols aside. It's such an obvious, sloppy, heavy-hooved scam that bothers me way more than it should. Like he's not even trying anymore when it comes to his grifting.

I still don't know what to really think of it.
What purpose or reason that is he doing this?
What prompted him in the first place was it okay to start randomly looking at his email and reading off a behind the scenes tip that can towards the goal? What's preventing him from getting one and acting like he never got it? Is he just trying to entice some fake hype train shenanigans where he will get more money since he's much closer to another shitty tips goal?

I have so many questions about this but I know for a fact this is some shady shit.

You’re forgetting an important distinction:

One gives Phil thousands of dollars, while the other gives Phil the equivalent of one visit at a cheap Sushi restaurant a month.

If Snowkarl wasn’t so popular, he’d be banned for sure. We’ve seen way more generous viewers get banned. Only reason SK is skating the ice is Phil’s fear of some kind of Snowkarl-strike.
