And I'm still puzzled as to why Lori keeps Kevin around if he's not bringing home money. She clearly doesn't enjoy his company. My only conclusion is that the lease may be in Kevin's name, thus Lori is truly stuck. Kevin needs to make her sleep on the couch while he and his shoes move into the bedroom.

Thank you for the sum up of Bakugo @OhGodHowDidThisGetHere , I was immensely amused over his meltdown of “no bakugo isn’t a meanie at all you just don’t UNDERSTAND him” and I had no idea about the character but it makes a lot of sense why Kevin heavily identifies with him.
Don’t want to be hasty because I haven’t seen the series, but he kind of sounds like one of those asshole “badass” characters that can’t control his temper and has few redeeming moral qualities.
Perfect for Kev with his Akatsuki coat and all (now I’m certain he also identifies with Itachi).
Honestly this is pretty funny, Kevin sperging out in general makes me laugh because he gets so ANGERY.

When I start to think Kevin will grow out of this phase, I realize I'm still thinking that he's the age he was when he first got with Lori. I have to remind myself, dude's almost 30 for fuck's sake. I watch some my hero, so I can actually commentate on Bakugo to a degree. Mind you i'm on season 2, but I've fucked around the spoiler tag for a while because I'm a HUGE fan of the Big 3 and Fatgum agency but anyways not super important.
However, keep in mind Bakugo has been sweeping #1 in the popularity polls since the second poll and pushing Deku THE MAIN PROTAGONIST to either 2nd or 3rd place respectively with Todoroki.
In a nutshell, yea Bakugo is pretty much a loud grumpy fiery edgy little shit. at the beginning of the series. However, after getting his ass handed to him a few times, even by Deku, Bakugo realizes "hey i'm not as tough shit as I thought. Better change it."
So yea he's still an asshole, but he makes an effort to make an effort to not be a MEGA asshole if that makes sense. He is competitive, he wants everyone to bring their A-game such as in the sports festival he was PISSED when Todoroki held out on him to the point when Bakugo did get the 1st place medal he was like "I DON'T WANT THIS SHIT HE DIDN'T FUCKING GIVE IT 100% THAT'S SOME FUCKIN BULLSHIT CHIEF I TELL YOU THAT!"
Outside of that, Bakugo overall is just kind of a grouchy person, but he knows who's friend and foe, smart, tactical, athletic, actually has some of the highest grades in his class, and has great skills in cooking and music but he doesn't really care about those. Hell the class calls Bakugo a mood booster more or less.
Bakugo's character development can probably be summarized as a slow burn. However, atm in the manga he apologies to Deku for everything he's done wrong more or less. He's had some great growth over the series from what I can see, but if anyone can add onto this feel free I haven't touched BNHA in a hot minute.
TLDR: Bakugo is a slow burn character and more than just an asshole, fans really got mad Bakugo told Deku to kill himself and it's been a hard fire ever since.
If anything, Kevin is just an asshole. He WISHES he had the achievements Bakugo had but it still doesn't excuse being an asshole.
Also, Kevin, Deku is a Shonen protag no shit he's gonna be wham bam magical thank you mam. Deku is essentially Naruto lite, but minus the traumatic past and being related to the ninja equivalent of god. Don't even get me started on Rock Lee's entire under dog story, but i'm already calling bullshit if Kevin is saying Bakugo and Todoroki are Rock Lee types when they aren't and it wouldn't even be a fair comparison.
