Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Large firms can buy up properties from small-time landlords who can't afford to take the hit, and the renters in those places can get their rent debt canceled by the government. Then they'll rely on the government more, and be in favor of increasing its size and presence in their everyday lives.

There were multiple people who ran against him in his first primary as UT senator. He's not especially well liked by the UT GOP political machine but he's the darling of independents and soft Dems in Salt Lake, so he's got wide support. His vote for the second impeachment might be enough to sink him though, UT broke hard for Trump in 2020, which means he's got to me more careful with his base than with the broader UT population than he's being.

And the worst part is a lot of them were fully capable of paying rent. They just heard they couldn't be thrown out and interpreted it as: "Sweet, this is my free house now."

The antifa types literally were preaching how rent is theft and they were owed a place to live, because landowners are the devil in marxist mythology.

I won't go full /k/ rant but the difference is night and day. What the AK platform sacrifices in accuracy it makes up for by being so easy to use that it was literally designed so that any illiterate Soviet peasant could pick one up and know everything about it that same day. Plus the way it's designed makes it easier to work with if you're wearing gloves which I like. But AKs are notoriously simple to clean, when people remember to maintain them in the first place.

Safety is kinda wonky though. Any tips on a brand provided we don’t end up in some blue hell? I’ve heard some Bulgarian company does good work but I can’t remember the name.

I can't find a great source on it, but it's largely a meat shortage via a feed grain shortage. They started the Clean Plate Initiative almost a year ago, which involved halving portion sizes at restaurants and using social pressure to encourage eating less and wasting nothing. That initiative has worked to prevent a national emergency, but they've been rationing for nearly a year in some provinces, while others have moved back to full portions. Considering that meat prices are like 4x higher in China right now, they'd probably pay out the nose for that corn/soy.
