even to the very end he was still spending all his cash instead of saving up for death defiance. I think he gives up after one death or something, or his brain is literally rotting lol

man I gotta say Phil might legit be the biggest hand held streamer out there, every other stream I’ve ever been in, even the occasional gurl who’s fucking trash at games has no backseat gaming as a chat rule, Phil on the other hand requires payment so you can tell him what to do

"Spawnkiller asked (superchat) what game I'd compare this to. Nothing. I don't want to compare".

I know it's common for Phil to treat his fans like shit and we are pretty much desensitized to it.

But holy shit.

Imagine a person actually being interested in hearing your opinion. So interested, in fact, that they give you fucking money to ask you a question.

And he responds like that.

Like... Holy shit. I have no words to describe how much of a shitty person that makes Phil look like. At least to me.

He acts like he's some sort of 10/10 model with millions of Instagram followers. So fucking entitled.

That's so funny because he's the guy who's always like "This game is just like [AAA of same genre]!" He'll definitely start bawling about how some future roguelike "isn't close to as good as Hades!" down the line.
I like how in order to ask Phil a question, you apparently have to be psychic and perfectly aware of his mental state.

Big ups to @Agent Proper (and Agent Smith) for the info that Phil owes the Connecticut courts $125 over the condo.

Guess we're getting that marathon, d00ds.

I haven't been watching Phil's bumbling this evening. Has anyone mentioned it to him (and were subsequently sent to banworld)?
unfortunately I got sent to banworld during the mass effect stream for trying to get him to ragequit during a bossfight

Well he’s got 50 extra health now and he’s using probably the best overall spear, but I can’t to see him underuse it, but I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he’ll face tank the game this time.

He immediately made me lose confidence by not liking Zeus boons, one the best for dealing damage and effects

doesn’t think chaos is “worth it” Probably the fastest way to admit you’re bad and don’t wanna be at a disadvantage for a few rooms to get a huge buff potentially. Especially with this spear, a particular chaos boon could make it even better

just fought a mini boss and didn’t throw his spear for the damage buff at all lmao “I have nothing to break armor” that free damage buff would sure help idiot

he got a Hermès boon with 2 extra dashes, this is lookin like the one boys

fuck I’m gonna lose my mind, he took a dash over Dionysus cast, which is a very strong cast….hey Phil remember when some loser in chat said your spear special empowers your next cast attacks? He fucking biffed it lmao.

Remember his last run with the spin attack spear, where it was such a good spear and build!

He's currently doing it again by sucking off himself on this build, on the first stage. The first stage is incredibly easy to breeze through no matter what. Gotta love him sitting there going over boons like he's actually using his brain while staring down chat then going "what do you guys think?".

Edit: Update. He died twice to the first boss.

Holy shit he died twice on boss one lmao. Just eating projectiles at point blank range.

he’s literally forgotten the entire point of that spear being to spam the special to the attack and cast bonus damage, he’s like never doing it unless the enemy is far away.

if he had taken Dionysus cast he could’ve been getting the cast buff and lobbing all his cast at this bitch for damage over time, instead he took the gimmicky dash one and had to sit right on top of her to do anything with it

“My cast is worthless I never got anything to make it better” you passed up on two casts, one being very strong in my opinion

Phil only likes to give his shitty opinions when nobody asks for them and when he's trying to clout chase on Twatter.

Wow, what an expert entertainer with amazing improvisational skills

“I’m not doing as much damage with this build, but if you notice I’m not getting hit as much”

he’s already gone through 2 revives, and just blew all his money on health to barley live through the boss fight lmao, this guy I swear

bought back all his revives, still doesn’t have a cast on the Achilles spear lmao. He’s literally forgotten the entire gimmick of the weapon and just dash attacking wildly, and it’s probably gonna be his first clear

and he fought the Minotaur early making him weaker at the end, I’m definitely calling this as his first clear, it would take an absurd level of bumbling for him to biff this one

Semi off topic but can anyone explain what a "rogue like" is? Google gave Dumb answers.
Rogue-Likes are perma death. You build up the character for a single run, once you die, you start from scratch. Sometimes, you can save some money or something for other runs - Like Binding of Isaac.

A Rogue-Lite is similar except you're able to buy upgrades that are permanent and make the game a little easier each time you upgrade. A good Rogue-Lite to check out would be Rogue Legacy.

I know there's going to be a million replies to this before I finish mine but here we go, a roguelike is a wide category of games that typically have the following features:

1. The game world is randomly or procedurally generated on each new game.
2. Death is permanent, and saving is only used to preserve your progress between game sessions (meaning you get one "progress point" save, and it cannot ever be "reloaded").
3. The challenges in the game are designed to reward preparation and skill by learning through expensive mistakes (because every mistake will cost you the entire game).
4. They are turn-based. This is the trade-off: you are trading the ability to think every single decision through, at the cost of that decision potentially leading to an immediate game over. Patience and not rushing into situations is key, and in some roguelikes it's not uncommon for players to spend an hour or two thinking about what step they want to take next.

They're called roguelikes because one of the first examples was a game called Rogue, but modern roguelikes include NetHack, Dungeon Crawl, Cataclysm Dark Days Ahead, the Adventurer Mode of Dwarf Fortress (and, arguably, Fortress Mode, though it is played in realtime). Those are the kind of prototypical roguelikes; simple or no graphics, randomly generated worlds, rewards for mastering the obstacles the game throws at you.

The definition is fluid and there's a lot of argument about it which is why there's the term "rogue-lites", which may have one or two of the above features but is more relaxed, doesn't punish mistakes with permadeath, doesn't require *mastery* of the game to avoid all its pitfalls, or can be finished fairly quickly. Modern roguelites would include Binding of Isaac, Spelunky, and FTL.

EDIT: Fixed words

Near end of stream update:

Total tip: $73

Top tip: $24 (33% of total tip) by Oroturtle

Phil is begging and raging that his "wicked build" is not working

Chat completely disengaged, talking about fast food and drinks only

Again it's a one whale stream, disastrous as usual
