The thing I like about Jake being paranoid about those sorts of things isn't the paranoia itself. I think most people have moments where their brain decides to remind them of something stupid they did, for example.

No, what I like about it is that Jake is not only certain that it's never his fault, as has been noted many times - but he's also paranoid that he's being treated like how he treats others. He's shown himself time and again to happily be part of whisper networks trying to get everyone to turn on people or things he's hates, usually because he's decided they're transphobic. The only problem is he has no influence, so nobody is canceling someone on Jake's say-so - he can only join a mob already in progress while pretending it's someone he's been trying to warn people about for years. He probably even has tweets that could prove it, given how vague so many of them are they could be made to apply to whichever target he's decided on today.

So the paranoia that keeps Jake up at night is basically projection, as is standard for troons and SJWs - but it's also projection that someone is using his tactics against him and they're better at it than he is. Not that it matters - the solution for Jake will be just exaggerating his lies about other people even more next time to desperately try and smear his sworn enemies before they can 'smear' him. Of course, what Jake counts as smears against him are what we call 'the truth', while his version of the truth is going to get even more divorced from reality than anyone thought possible. Time to wait for his next googleshng about Glinner, in which it turns out Glinner was slipping into Jake's DMs and trying to start an affair, or about Jesse Singal, where Jesse has personally murdered several trans women and Jake has proof but he's just too scared to share it...

Part of that might be that he lives in an actual echo chamber(his apartment and mind) and his past mistakes reverberates endlessly as he tries to change the context while he is reminded of the tweet(internet actions) he was punished for. For most of us making an ass of ourselves and waking up feeling like shit should be familiar. "aw fuck I got home and drunkenly messaged..." he's the person that would endlessly ruminate on and try to explain what he actually meant with his "we kne us so sow bob or gagene lol" message at 0530, except he doesn't explain his tweets other than saying people read his writing wrong. I once tried to make an effort post about that show and what make catch his eye, I still have a folder called "kamenridercrap", but jesus christ there's one billion episodes and I'm not going to watch any of them, I just clicked around a wiki. Seem to be lots of lady-villains that caters to the monster muscle girl appreciater.



It's a bit more subtle than Slymenstra Hymen while being more unsettling than a GWAR stage show.

It is, they're the same genre. Why is Jake attracted to one and not the other?
US Power rangers is about a team, usually a multicultural cast of young adults dressing as pirates or whatever solving problems.
Kamen Rider is usually an individual hero, so no icky femoids, just an lone heroic autist Jake can project onto. I assume he watches the Japanese version either subbed or dubbed which is usually enough to make any weeb regard it as art. Ive attached a scientific chart to explain this phenomenon:

That is through his lens and his excuse for watching a show made for 1st graders, we all know that the revolutionary things in the show that he praises is just something he's made up. So I wanted to take a look at what it actually is and figure out what was going on. What I've found from youtube clips is that they like to shoot their battles in empty parking garages and there's some kind of Yu-gi-oh belt that makes funny sounds and lights up when cards/power tokens are inserted into it. It's like a slot machine of sorts. I don't know if those tokens are consumables and the hero needs to buy them at the store as a gacha mechanic, that would actually be funny.

It is hugely embarrassing to watch even in clip form and it's more boring than Splinter Cell exposition.

He claims to enjoy the kitsch aspect, and I think I do believe this given his documented love of asinine horror movies. His games (Godzilla, Star Trek, "Glistening Chests") also have a broad streak of kitsch to them.
