Im getting a feeling that he took someone elses passport, made up some random name, printed some cards and said "this is me guys!!!!" to throw everyone off. Keep in mind that Hector is making a M1 port for Linux, and that isn't an easy task. Hector is an intelligent man, and I feel like this is something he would do.

Think about it, instead of risking having his byuu alias ruin his career prospects and get him fired, he can simply have his alias fake a suicide, and if he ever somehow gets correlated he can say "oh that isn't me, that guy is dead." And if his employers search up "David Kirk Ginder" they will see articles that the guy is dead, and assume he is telling the truth even though those articles don't have any credible proof.

I honestly think Hector is more involved in this than most people think, but this is only my 10 cents of this whole situation.



TL;DR Hector is still talking about near even though we was suppousedly just there to declare he was dead, showing some sort of obsession from him. Also a theory in that Hector correlated near to a fake identity to ensure his career's safety.

EDIT: I just realized that making an emulator and porting a kernel to a new architecture requires very similar skill sets (knowing about clock drivers, I/O managment, ect.), causing my suspicions grow even more...

That's something which has always bothered me; what's been in it for Hector? What's his personal stake?

Byuu was throwing around some big numbers with Null; did he offer Hector the same big cash moneywad (or his stash of carts), to make sure Kiwi Farms went & stayed down? From my lay understanding, the DDOS attacks were peculiar, and possibly done by someone with Hector's particular skillset.

TNSTAAFL; I don't believe that Hector possesses anything like the altruism he wants us to assume he has, and likewise assumed nobody would question his real motives.

Even if the $100k+/- didn't exist, gullible faggots like Hector have done a lot worse, for a lot less, just on the premise that it does. DDOS'ing the Farms & piloting it's cancellation would be chumpwork for Hector, especially if he got enough of a down-payment (or large enough slice of the cart horde).

The photo in Byuu's image has an overcast light that obscures the features of the eyes and casts a prominent shadow, leading me to believe this may not be a real passport. You can look at examples on google images, and every single one of them has no shadows as dramatic as the one in his photo. While you can submit your own photo for your passport, it has to be done correctly, or the person reviewing the photo will reject it. It cannot have the shadows casting that it does in his image. I had that problem when applying for my passport. If so, the lighting doesn't seem downright horrid and we don't have a better image of this photo so I have doubts of it being fake. There does seem to be shadow slightly to the right and obviously on his sunken eyes and clothing, but I'm not sure to what degree the people filtering submissions are picky as it doesn't seem severe. Has anyone experienced a photo being denied and therefore can speak on this? The overall quality of this photo is obviously made worse looking due to the circumstances we're seeing it in.

You're not allowed to filter the submissions at all. Only the person doing the photo approval and others are allowed to do this (often for the purposes of removing the background for transparency reasons). His photo is clearly unacceptable because it casts large shadows on his face. I have had my photo denied for having shadows cast, which is why I brought this up in the first place. I had to have it done professionally so that my eyes were exposed to light and that my prominent cheekbones weren't casting shadows (similar to how his nose is casting a large shadow). Additionally, his photo is underexposed (when compared to the white of his business card), giving more reasons to be rejected.

It appears other countries (not all) have similar requirements for their passport photos. Then again, could have been people not doing their job.

I'm not from the usa but the rules where I am are similar. I used to take passport photos and we would get dinged on every photo that got denied, so we had to get pretty proficient.

You can show ears or you can hide them in your passport photo. You just have to show or hide both. You can't just have one ear sticking out.

Your shoulders need to be even (unless you have some legitimate reason they can't be). You also have to be centered so that gap of wall on one side could have caused a denial all in itself.

The shadows are definitely a problem. Your shit gets ran through a computer that uses facial landmarks to register your photo. That's why shininess, shadows, stray hairs etc are banned. It prevents proper landmarks from being identified.
