cant archive, but nothing for late june 👀👀👀👀👀👀👀
Only question I've got that can muddy things up; was Byuu/Near a resident of Japan or were they visiting?
Japan does not allow dual citizenship. Meaning if he moved to Japan permanently without a green card, he would be considered a Japanese citizen.

Second, a big suicide thing in Japan is the Aokigahara Forest, well known for people going out and hanging themselves. Was his suicide method ever mentioned?
If he pulled a weeb suicide he could have hung himself there and they haven't yet found his body.

I'm personally in the "hes still alive" camp, but never hurts to ask questions

Holy shit just rapid-firing the dumbest imaginable takes to try to cope. "If near was alive we would have heard something", he's faking his death, why the fuck would he say something and ruin it? "If a suicide attempt fails that doesn't make it fake", there is zero proof there was even an attempt, and a failed attempt is a completely different scenario nobody has suggested, plus according to you if he was alive we wOuLd HaVe HeArD sOmEtHiNg!! And finally, when we post proof Near's not dead "how can we take the words of Near's murderer's at face value???", what about the words of the US State Dept. you absolute numb shit

This shit reminds me if you have ever done genealogical research work. Death announcements and obituaries are basically as old as the newspaper itself in America. I've found people who immigrated to America with zero family, had zero kids, zero next of kin and no friends yet I can find death announcements and obits for them. From 160 years ago. Guess how long it would take someone from a farm in the middle of nowhere Wisconsin to get one in the newspaper? between 1-5 days usually. Most of the time it's next day or two days.

Now we cut to 2021 Japan. The most technologically advanced nation in the world who we occupied for 7 years with military forces and enforced our western ways of doing shit on magically oh whoops! Doesn't have it. The American parents of this faggot? Whoops just never said anything about it. Government mandated lists of deaths overseas? WHOOPS WE DON'T HAVE IT.
This quibbling over the cut off date is retarded too.

It's September, as if when compiling this list whichever government worker responsible is going to say "Oh I can see this furry troon died within the period these records cover, however as you reported it to me a day after the cut off point I am completely incapable of adding that to my Excel spreadsheet".

News just out of Japan.

Apparently the reason that David Kirk Ginder, better known as Byuu Near was not reported as suicide on the State Department USA list is because he is not considered human.

This from the "Seppuku Times Japan":

"The Death of a Fury is sometimes listed as a death of an animal, in respect to the views and wishes of those who have died." According to Japanes police, they send out a truck each month to collect the corpses of dead fury's.
"Sometimes they have ID on them - most often they do not and instead we find lubricants and sometimes sex toys in their hidden pouches.". Apparently David was first thought to actually be indeed a dead animal and not human at all. According to the coroner "When he/she/it was bought to us even after removing the Fury outfit, for a significant time, we thought it might have actually been an animal role playing as a another animal as his features were very odd and did not look much like a real man at all.".

Authorities later realized their mistake when they found gaming cartridges and programmers manuals hidden in a pouch and then realized their mistake. "If it wasn't for one of our staff at the morgue was a bit of a computer geek, the error may have gone unnoticed." they said in a statement. "We contacted the family of the deceased, and they declined to have arrangements for the body to be collected, which is understandable as he/she/it was such a disappointment to the parents." In alignment with Japanese culture, the body was BBQed and then given to the poor to eat.

There is a zero percent chance Near is a citizen of Japan. His passport is American and he hasn't lived there long enough to even have the chance to apply. This part is anecdotal, but according to an expat I know in Japan they will basically never approve your citizenship request unless you're married with kids and have a decent paying job, regardless of what the government claims is the criteria.

On your second point, if Near killed himself in a suicide forest then that would just prove Hector and Wayne were complete fucking liars anyways. They both claimed the police found his body swinging in his apartment and confirmed it to them for some reason. Suicide forest isn't ever mentioned by them but you know if it was discovered he really did do it they would probably say something along the lines of "i knew it was in a forest the whole time, i just said false info on twitter out of the respect of his privacy. kiwifarms has sap on their hands!!!"

So I tried what @Ralph Barnhardt did myself.

What I got back

so here’s my general consensus now:

If I can’t get a reply about that, then that probably really does mean nobody can even if they wanted to.

also I apologize to the forum for wording it poorly, I was sleepy at the time

but if they cannot comment about an individual case, that means that if this so-called anonymous source, AND Hector said they did and got a response back, then that means they are full of shit.

But perhaps i fucked up on this one: TOKYOACS@state.gov

Try it yourself.

Well the only 'confirmations' we have around his death both involve the body needing to have been found.

1. A photo of his lifeless corpse.
2. Confirmation via a phone call / face to face with the police (yes, both apparently)
3. His troon dust in a very real urn.

Another weird question to ask, does he have any outstanding debts he owes?
While he doesn’t owe any debt, it’s speculated that he’s avoiding getting sued over copyright infringement by Nintendo Japan.

as people have said before ITT, Byuus emulator is actually quite good. It’s believed the reason why it’s so good it’s because it uses code from a Nintendo hacked a few years back (originalsource code for many in-house consoles and emulators).

Nintendo have already successfully sued a few people from using this stolen source code. In Japan copyright infringement is actually a criminal offense and not a civil offense so some people are going to jail over this and have huge fines (in Japan).

Byuu is massively salty because he made a technically superior emulator but it’s less popular than the other main stream ones and it may put him in jail or with insane fines (which Nintendo to collect).

Byuu is now Byuula, they have fully transitioned and have a quiet life in Iowa.
ETA- What do I care about an autistic emulation creator, that I want him dead? There are cows more deserving of actual anger. Janke and Saroka are two, off the top of my head, that are far worse people.
