I know someone that started watching the Down The Rabbit Hole videos, and we briefly talked about DSP, but he was far more interested in the Empress Theresa stuff.

The thing with Phil is, that he’s an acquired taste.

He’s so boring, that the only people interested in him as a lolcow, are people who followed him for years, because all the interesting sagas are far and few between.

Unlike the craziness and crack-like milk of a lolcow like Chris-chan, Phil the lolcow delivers pretty stale, sour milk at first glance. He’s a 40 year old failure of a streamer who constantly begs.

You gotta have a specific taste to go “Ohoho! Look at that bankruptcy saga! Can you taste the delusion in those rants? Exquisite!”

Most importantly, Phil is such a shit human being, that he’s hard to enjoy unless you’re the most detached of autism-watchers.

...and that's why he lives in the past - cause back then that's all you needed to be successful on Youtube as a content creator. If Youtube and its audience had the standards back then that they have now, Phil never would have gotten noticed by anyone. Phil can't accept the fact that standards have improved because he knows that he's too incompetent and lazy to try and reach those standards. That's why he whines about Youtube needing to revert its algorithms to cater solely to new game release playthroughs/streams, cause that's the only value he's ever had as a content creator.

This is why I assume Phil doesn't even go out on his days "off" beyond the necessary stuff like haircuts, doctors, etc... We'd hear stories from someone that's seen Phil and Catherine.

To me, Phil is off-putting mainly because of his shitty attitude being enabled by his legion of retards.

Any normal person who doesn't understand lolcows would watch Phil's stream and go: "What the fuck is this? Why is this guy insulting his fans? Why is he banning everyone? And why are the people being insulted and banned showering him with money? I... What...".

It's just really bizarre if you look at it as a normal, well-adjusted, non-kiwi-farmer human being.

But that's why it's so fascinating to degenerates like ourselves. It's like watching gore or disturbing content. It's horrible, but some people can't look away.

Also, this adds to the hilarity of Phil thinking that he has any chance to grow his channel. No one new can feel interested in joining the Snortsphere, unless they are absolute degenerates like LonelyCoffee.

By the way, the only times I genuinely have fun watching Phil are when I see the desperation of a manchild thinking that he'll have to face consequence for his actions. It's always great to watch Phil rationalize the fact that his ship keeps sinking, that every fan of his is either retarded or hates him, that he's a joke to everyone, etc etc.

But when he is comfortable and smug, god, he's the most boring lolcow ever.

DSP may be conflating with how Twitch handles things where paid subscriptions had a check box for auto renew or not. He might not know that auto renew isn't an option on YouTube.
