Byuu didn’t get citizenship in my educated opinion.
For fucks sake stop repeating this same nonsense with your smooth brain opinions. He wasn't resident for 5 years.
He can't even apply to start the process. End of. Shut up already.
Apart from the fact that it is just legendarily hard to get citizenship (it’s even hard to get a normal work visa and online it’s joked about that JP visa seekers are called “dreamers”).
This is anus talk again. It's not legendarily hard. People that don't fit the requirements bitch online about it being hard but it's not.
Want a visa for Japan? Speak English and don't mind earning next to nothing? You're in. Come from a poor Asian country and want to be a human robot? You're in. Married some Japanese woman you met two weeks ago? You're in.
Just want a visa because living in Japan is your dream but you don't have a degree, work experience and not from a poor asian country that can be exploited? There's no visa class for dopey eyed twat. Work out a way of fitting one of the previously stated visa groups.
Japan only want to give citizenship to those who have either given a huge amount of tax to Japan (Payroll tax), Created jobs,
No. citizenship has been granted to minimum wage useless assholes in the past. First part is to meet the application requirements i.e. not be an illegal immigrant, be here 5 years, pay your taxes. Then the whole thing is up to the local office that processes you and the MoJ. They don't publish why visa or citizenship applications were rejected even to the person that applied. They only sometimes publish examples of rejections. So anyone that is claiming they know why an application was rejected is lying.
And obviously mandatory minimum level of Japanese which is strictly enforced.
There is no Japanese language requirement. One of the parts of the process is to write a letter about why you want to be Japanese and there are interviews. That is where you would get caught out with absolutely no Japanese. But saying it's strictly enforced is just stupid. It depends on who processes your application and who you are.
I don’t wanna power level but I know quite a few people who have been in both the visa and the citizenship process for Japan and it’s extremely obtuse and they can deny you for any old bullshit even if they don’t like the country you’re from
You aren't power leveling. You are power retarding. Japan's visa process is like every other country 50 or more years ago.
Every sane country only issue spouse visas after checking that one of the couple can actually afford to put a roof over their heads.
Japan doesn't. You need a sponsor letter from literally anyone without a shred of proof that they could afford to help you if you get in trouble.
The process is dead simple. Much simpler than almost everywhere in the world and requiring much less evidence to be submitted.
I don’t believe Byuu has done any of these. Knowing Japanese and living there for over 5 years only get you so far but that is not enough to get you a “Dreamer” visa.
Jesus fucking christ. He was employed by a Japanese company. He would have a visa with permission to work sponsored by his employer.

Japan hate giving out citizenship so much That they would only offer it to this Japanese born indian if his parents (who came in as “asylum-seekers”) agree to fuck off back to India (based)
If I remember correctly that guys parents are illegals. Kicking illegals out is a major hassle as they will continually lodge appeals and that gives them another run in Japan while they wait for their appeal to be rejected. Laws to limit the number of appeals and instantly deport when the final appeal is rejected have been held up. So they are going another route to get his parents to leave. From what I remember they did this with a Thai illegal before and as soon as they got rid of the mother they didn't grant citizenship and deported the kid as well. This has nothing to do with the normal naturalisation process. If Byuu is here for 5 years, learns enough Japanese to live independently and brings in ~$100K USD a year every year for a few years he'd get PR pretty easy and the requirements for citizenship are less than PR. He didn't illegally enter the country, he isn't working at a soapland giving old dudes blow jobs.
For fucks sake stop repeating this. He hasn't been in Japan for 5 years. He's not famous or rich enough to be given special treatment. End of story.
