Oh god why

Don't see how chocolate lady should be an exception to pointing out how ridiculous astrology is. Especially in a pretty small group like this.
But pointing it out every single time she streams about it is kinda eh.

Also, someone mentioned before: Mio and her voodoo exists.

Also also, Susan, stop being racist.

While it hasn't been long since council's debut, I must admit Sena has quickly grown on me. She has this childlike, gentle enthusiasm and delight, she sometimes sounds like a young girl put into an adult woman's body (and just like a child, she might show her bratty side sometimes, like during her I am bread stream, when she cheerfully smashed a bunch of vases because she confused them with urns), yet at the same time she erupted with astronerdism to Kroni as soon as she spotted an opportunity.

About her astrology streams: in my country we have one day each year that's traditionally connected to ghosts and occult. Think Halloween, but instead of running around the neighborhood and collecting candies, children try to make divinations using folk methods. Sometimes they do so in their homes, sometimes even in their schools as a part of group activities. Kids really want take part in that, they love trying to predict the future like an old Gypsy, get excited when the prophecies seems positive, but nobody really expects them to come true and on the next day everyone is back to normal. So until Sena cancels a stream because of the stars not being in the right place, "the holoscope" is just an original idea for an interesting content, not unlike Ame's "zoology review" streams.

As long as it's a harmless hobby, I say let people have their fun with the ooga-booga stuff.
Sana ain't trying to cure cancer with quartz crystals, so let's keep things in perspective.
Unless you're burning your paycheck on lottery tickets using horoscope numbers, leave her be.
Cool story bro:
I hung out with a bunch of wicca/new-agers in university for the free mead they handed out at gatherings. And boy, did the crystal healers loved me when they found out I was going into geology. One time they wanted me to identify a "hot rock". Me being several mugs of mead into things, I didn't think much of it and said sure, and took it from them. Lo and behold, it was literally hot to the touch. The mental gears thus began to turn and I yeeted that rock outside into the back yard, hauled ass to the kitchen to wash my hand, then went back to yell at them that it was uranium ore.

So lads, I've been injected by the second dose of the 5G, and as of typing, I'm experiencing chills and a slight fever. I might take a day or two off the grid, and I'm having a FOMO with whats happening to the Vtuber scenes. Is this what they feel when they take a break or two? LMAO

Anyway, I heard IRyS will have an AMOGUS collab in a few hours (?) and also, Choco-sensei's new song is very catchy so give it a try.

Edit: have some sensitive noises

Farms is still being fucky wucky for replies.
You can buy many kinds of rocks and minerals at rock and mineral shows and stores:
This level of radiation ain't going to kill you since even paper can stop the radioactivity.
You have to refine the ore to get the kill-you-in-one-go level of radioactivity to be a problem.
I know it involves going outside, but if you know where to go and what to look for you can pick them up off the ground:
Madness!
For the lazy NEET:

I knew about radium, but not for uranium. Madness, indeed!

Selen definitely manages to make Apex fun to watch. Which is in equal parts due to her being genuinely great at the game, knowledgeable enough to casually give useful commentary on what she's doing, and a great entertainer.

Niji really managed to add a gem to their collection with her.

Selen makes an 'APEX Endurance until I win with two Mozambiques' and won her second match. She's in Pred lobbies btw.
I wanted to ask this earlier, but completely forgot: do her Apex streams are really that better? I've never played the game itself (and still don't know how all the shit in it even works), but I kept watching holomems playing it from time to time until Ollie overdid it in July and made me feel burnt out with the game without even downloading it. Is there a noticeable difference in quality when the player is an actual pro? Ollie, meds onegai

Hope someone is recording Pippa's hololive audition review, I'll be out touching grass and it sounds like an interesting stream with big yab potential.

Choco-sensei, one of the topmost tone-deaf Holo, behind Ame and Noel(dunno about en2 yet), actually has her own original song.

Lads, Ame and Noel having their own original song is possible :stress:

Man, Hololive is pumping originals a lot lately. I presume this is preparation for this year's HoloFes.

Sounds like a short stream, except it's suffering from success:story:

I haven't watched Selen yet(well, I did watched a clip where she was simping with a pro she randomly teamed up with during her kill/dmg challenge stream and I was annoyed by her laugh that time) but Ollie is a bad example of Apex streamer since she's not good with it.

I will equate Selen to watching Astel, except, you know Selen being an obviously better player so it's more fun to watch them play good and even win a lot of matches, alongside them being entertaining. Definitely a better experience in comparison imo

I don't follow Choco much, but she did sing in the Halloween song last year alongside Rushia, Shion, and Mel. One of my favorite songs (don't know why, but Japanese Halloween-themed songs are always great to my ears). I don't think she sounds terrible in it. Granted, she only has a very short solo segment and then the group chorus where distinct voices are harder to hear.

Oh I know about the song, after having playing the song a lot on D4DJ(that's not the only song she sang, you should check out other group Bloom songs that was released weekly early this year, I think she is also in Dreaming Days). The distinction is Halloween Night is group song so it masks her voice a lot. She's not that bad of a singer but she is very below average(mainly her singing voice is almost no different than her talking voice) vs other holos, with the worst ones being Ame and Noel.

Whereas this new song is her original. Still haven't listen to it to properly like it or not but yeah.

Watching Selen play APEX is kind of like watching Suisei play Tetris: The game in and of itself may not be what you'd fire up in your spare time, but the quality of gameplay is so high whilst not coming at the cost of commentary and chat interaction, that it's hard to not find yourself just enjoying it.

Most pro players who stream any kind of content are incredibly boring entertainers who make up for it with top-end gameplay. Not so with Selen, who is always cracking jokes, doing dumb challenges, and having fun with chat.

The ONLY thing with Selen is that you might get filtered by her demeanour. Her voice is grainy and boyish like you'd expect from cheerleader bullies in Saturday morning cartoons, she laughs CONSTANTLY and tends to repeat herself twice, and she talks an unbelievable amount of shit about her teammates and her opponents that I've seen turn people off because she's 'too cocky' etc. All of what I listed is pretty on brand for her character, but it's still up to the tastes of the viewer.

Despite this, and much like Suisei is with Tetris, she doesn't play APEX all that much, and her schedules are usually VERY varied, so if you want to get a feel for her then just tune in and see how it goes!
