I guess the question then is what to do with the posts that will inevitably get made in the future. They're not generally shitposts, so shitpost thread doesn't seem appropriate. I rather like the idea of talking about coffee and coffee-adjacent items. I love coffee cake, especially when it has the little sugary crumb on top of it. Yes, he seems to like seeing people talk about him but he'll get that no matter what as Phil is a slow lolcow in the first place. It's how someone like him can easily be one of the most interesting people in the Goutsphere. Put OIC in another, more prominent lolcow and he's a footnote in comparison to the other shit being flung.

To make the cold brew concentrate I let it steep on the counter top at room temp for 16 to 24 hours, about 30 minutes or so after you add the water give it a stir to break up the crust of grounds that will settle to the top.
Then I just decant it through a paper filter and store it in the fridge for up to a week.

The 1:4 ratio is grounds to water, so 1 cup grounds to 4 cups water.

Regular coffee is brewed at about a 1:16 ratio to 1:20 so it'll have about 4 to 5 times the caffeine of an equivalent amount of regular coffee, so 4 oz of it is about like drinking a 16 oz cup of coffee.

While they might want to deny it, people care about OIC. I'd argue some are even more invested in OIC than they are Phil at this point. General OIC chatter still bleeds into the main thread as it is, shutting this thread down will just lead to pages of extra OIC content clogging up the main thread.

If I had to recommend anything, I'd suggest people chill with the "let's just ignore OIC" style posts. They not only do the exact opposite of what people want by drawing more attention to OIC, but it makes it harder to discuss anything that is actually relevant to OIC, even if there's not much to discuss. I think OIC is dangerously close to getting some rent free space in people's minds. He's worth documenting and even if it's been discussed to death already, I won't bash people for wanting to speculate on who he is because, hey, cow speculation is entertaining, especially in the goutsphere.
