I like posting in the Boogie2988 thread where there's a phenomenon specific to him called "The Sammy Shield". Basically the idea is that after every single controversy he's (purposely) inserted himself into, he'll follow that up by casually posting photos of his crosseyed dog Sammy in an effort to appear disaffected and unphased from whatever backlash he receives in response to being a retard (which he is). The Sammy Shield has a particularly strong effect among his mouthbreathing fans where they immediately forget about and move on from whatever he's actively being accused of.
This feels a lot like that. I know Vaush had success during his charity stream benefiting Palestine (with some speculating HAMAS), but it's not like this has ever been something he's regularly done over the length of his time as a public figure. In fact, perhaps I'm missing examples from earlier in his channel's days, but that stream is the only one that comes to mind.
I'm half way through the "Vaush is Evil" video and while I almost always despise lefties and question their motives, credit where credit is due. It's a well done video that's thoroughly researched and puts almost all of my negative thoughts about Vaush over the years on blast and full display to a decently wide reaching audience. It's clear he's seething in response to this vid like in
@etcetcetc's post
here. It's reached 100k views in 2 days and has received praise from almost all of the viewers and also a significant amount of blue checkmarks (gay). I have no doubt that Vaush is mad and wouldn't put it past him at all to spontaneously throw out the idea of hosting another charity stream for the sole purpose of regaining control of the narrative, winning easy points among his audience, and taking attention away from what's probably the single best piece of media critiquing him yet.
One of the replies to this Tweet is a viewer of his seemingly taking credit for suggesting Planned Parenthood as the charity to be the recipient of whatever funds are raised.
"[...] when you were asking chat about another charity stream".
What this tells me is that Vaush didn't have this stream planned all along, instead it came together as a spontaneous decision that had so little planning he was asking his viewers about what charity should even be selected as the benefactor. Now I'm speculating here obviously but it's Vaush we're talking about and this really does not seem too far fetched imo. He also benefits by donating fan's money to an organization who will then use it to facilitate the deaths of an unknown amount of unborn babies which goes without saying is undoubtedly some kind of fucked up kink of is. On top of horses, black men, and children, that is.
Especially when it was literally only 11 posts ago ITT that a clip was posted where he's explicitly stating "You know I hope this charity stream that I'm doing benefits me and helps me outgrow my competition in popularity while also encouraging them to acknowledge / work with me for the sole purpose of my own personal gain".
