Someone superchatted to suggest Phil make Derich a mod to protect him from trolling. Phil's response was that Derich doesn't want to be a moderator. And then he moved on.
Derich doesn't need to use the mod tools then, he just can't be trolled. So to those wondering if Phil would consider this option, it's clearly completely off the table.
