reddit General

I love those people. They are just so awful, so deluded. Why would anyone want to be around them? Absolutely the first persons to go under a dictatorship because they'd fucking volunteer for the concentration camps, either to be a prisoner or a guard.
The reason I don't use Reddit. I am 60% sure that all posts are karma manipulated somehow because there is no real difference in a post that has 5 score and one with 500 score and one with -5 score and -500 score. It's just human groupthink applied to the internet. Groupthink helps us blend in with our surroundings, have good manners, and copy those around us but it has it's downsides like Reddit behaviour and bystander effect. If I could get something to under -5 score it should deteriorate down to -50 from there. I am pretty sure someone actually tested this in a study and was able to successfully manipulate redditors into supporting and not supporting things. Or at least I hope it's groupthink or these people are stupid or have no actual moral foundations. Politics is how we interact and live in a society. Redditors don't have politics. The Redditor version of politics is whatever arbitrary thing that they like one day will be enforced and what they don't like will be banned without reason to why thing XYZ is good and ABC is bad.

Begun the Autism wars have.

But lets be honest this entire thing will blow over when a few of them get kicked from their positions then the rest will cower in fear and get back in line.

After all, if Reddit Jannies were capable of anything other than being gigantic spineless cowardly faggots who bend over in fear and supplication for even the slightest modicum of e-power (or fear of it being taken away), than Reddit would have imploded a thousand times over.
In before "Help, my Lesbian partner keeps hitting me and IDK what to do" post that sees this poster banned from Reddit for homophobia.

Also, user /u/i_like_it_raw_ is mad about abortion ban because now being a whore has consequences.

And everyone who doesn't support said user being a whore is a "small town crazy" because people who disagree wih OP politicially and don't want to live in Dallas and experience the reddit big city copypasta is insane apparently. Jesus Christ, I hope OP and people like them move out of Texas. Oregon is a textbook model of what happens when a couple of cities gains too much power and I hope for Texas' sake that the state doesn't go down that road.
As a person who spent a significant portion of her childhood in Texas, I simply don’t believe this nutcase. She is only NOW noticing that it is a conservative state and that everyone there who isn’t a good ol boy is a Mexican Catholic?????? Mmm-hmmmm.

I truly think it would be better to just not read at all than to read all shitlib books. Seeing people actually posting interesting, obscure books or books indicating they have a particular interest is relevatively rare.
You're not wrong about redditors or shitlib books, but by its very nature obscure books are going to be mentioned rarely. If they got all the attention they wouldn't be be obscure books, they would be the popular books.

Oh they realize it. But a good portion of Reddit employees and mods are pedos.

It's hilarious that a user base that complains about "dog whistles" so much seems to bring up age of consent and exposing of sexual activity to children all the time 🙄
Basically this:

Because a life where a kid lives homeless, with serious birth defects, or starving is one it doesn't deserve, and women have the right to make that choice. The planet doesn't need more people.

Cunt.
Whoa sounds like some people shouldn't be screwing around and reproducing if they keep producing homeless, defective, starving kids.

"Women have a right to make that choice."
"The planet doesn't need more people."
Which one is it then.

Here is a typical reddit quote tree.

It was on /r/nottheonion about the satanic temple opposing and trying to skirt the new texas legislation.

It just struck me as peak reddit.

edit: i was thinking of the satanic temple, not the satanic church. and there's more to it than what i said

one thing these redditors (if they're not bots trying to sell us shit) don't understand is that the satanic church is based on trying to point out hypocrisy in laws and events to try and keep the state non secular. An example of this is that there was a law that passed in an area that said you could legally go up to people on public school grounds and teach them about religion, basically allowing you to sell your religion in an attempt to convert people to your faith. the satanists caught wind of this and started handing handing out pamphlets about how fucked up the bible is on school grounds, then the law was quickly shut down after that. that's the core of satanism, everything else is just made up bullshit to legally be registered as a religion in the united states.

people who join satanism for the religious aspect of it are either posers who want to look different or people who want to use it as a moral tool to look cool or win arguments because of the written doctrine. i'd imagine redditors are also joining so that they can act like they're a part of all this cool shit without actually doing anything, classic reddit mentality. people are joining so that they can justify their actions or use it for clout, the exact same people and mentality that REAL satanists are trying to fight

edit: I just have to say this

You're right, it was the mere will of Penn Jillette that stopped them

redditors will probably stop singing their jaunty tune about this guy once they hear about his opinion on the second amendment and recycling

You're thinking of the satanic temple, what they're talking about, not the satanic church, right?

In any case if you look into the background of the people involved it's hard to believe the satanic temple is only the atheist/secular group that they purport to be. One of their front men, going by the alias lucien greaves (and played by two different men in the past), is mostly played by Doug Mesner. Before he started the satanic temple he was involved with the satanic church. And they've also got a false memory division which is it's own whole rabbit hole. But if you get into it, you're most likely to walk away with the idea that the false memory phenomenon is a fabricated idea to protect pedophiles.

Considering how the average redditor is wrong about practically everything, I'd say they'd fit right in following a mythological figure known as "the great opposer".

The Satanic Temple is the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster for edgelords.

@Lemmingwise False Memory Division? You have any links about this? Also in a sane society ST wouldn't be treated by the law as a religion in the same way that Pastafarians aren't treated as a religion because their beliefs are not sincere.
Here's an article I've not fully vetted, but gives a good basic outline on it.

Doug Mesner is also known as Doug Misicko, btw

Btw, Jordan Peterson defended the false memory concept as a called on expert in a court case in Canada to help defend the cornwall pedophile case. I thought that was interesting anyways.

All these atheist groups are just pure retardation. They don't even actually worship the Devil because they're complete cowards. If you claim to be a Satanist and you can't even worship the Devil, just eat a dick.

Or get a life and find Jesus, which is what normal people do.

Most people who claim to be Satanists are still openly terrified of the concept of the devil which utterly defeats the purpose of the name, it was simply an edgy LARP from day one.

Even if they did actually worship a demon or big S they'd have no actual rites or any information beyond 'be really edgy' or 'do church but swap usual terms for Satan'. Comically I've seen more potluck style meetings for these alleged Satanists, so I guess they just like the fellowship part of Christianity without the faith.
