That's usually IV, veins collapse and walls thicken. Regular subcutaneous or intramuscular injections aren't much of an issue.

Outpatient insulin syringes are all one piece; the needle can't be removed from the syringe. Insulin pens do have replaceable needles, which are usually 29-31 gauge.

From the blue hubs, most of the needles on the tray are 23 gauge. That's more than twice as thick, and so much better at holding on to biohazard if they are being reused.

The skeevy part is that they're all injecting at the same time. The Tranch has this communion ritual going on; it's only a matter of time before they do decide they're fluid-bonded or some other fuckery goes on. We've seen what their kitchen looks like.

They're reusing needles and there's only two vials on that table which means they're taking the dosage out of the same bottles with dirty needles multiple times for multiple people. That's got to be an infection risk above and beyond their fetid am holes especially when you consider the disgusting sty they all live in.

The fact they had all that money donated and didn't think hmmm we should bulk buy some syringes is really the perfect example of how these people have no idea what they're doing. You can get bulk boxes of 100 for 20 bucks or so, a couple hundred dollars in syringes would have lasted them quite a while but no.

Their next saga will probably be that they've all terribly sick because they were injecting themselves with used sharps and sharing meds which would be a far more legitimate saga than Earl.

Honestly, I'm unsurprised that not everyone on the tranch gets their estrogen and whateverelse legally. Their place is prime haven for troo and hoonest troons, and the most pure troons are the type to either have to go to DIY hormones because their doctor's won't give it to them, or they do the truest man thing you could do and start fucking INSTANTLY ordering progesterone to be independent and their own self made self medicating doctors.

It's possible that they use the same clean needle or vial access cannula to remove all the doses from a multidose vial, changing it from syringe hub to syringe hub. This ups the chance of needle stick, but it means the sharpest possible needle available for injection.

What weirds me out is that they all have prescriptions for the same medication and they're taking it from the same communal stockpile. On a practical level, assuming good technique, their dispensing isn't much different than what you'd do with a multidose vial in a clinic or a hospital. In the medical system, though, there's a lot of keeping track.

If someone decides to leave the Tranch, how much of the communal estrogen do they get to take with them? Is it prorated or do they just wait to leave until their refill? How many troons are sliding by without a prescription, off the combined fudge factor? Is the one who draws up the doses giving himself a little extra, since more is always better and nobody will notice? How long until an unsupervised visitor holds his breath, opens the fridge, and scores a year's worth of HRT? Are they at least rotating the vials through by expiration date?

We know these guys aren't great at bookkeeping; I don't have high hopes for their med admin.
